Converting to Reader, right hand edge not visable.
SpencerElden 2/5/2006 12:19:27 AM
When I use the Microsoft Reader add-in in Word 2003, the text at the far
right edge of the ebook isn't visable. It's only between around 2 or 3
characters that are not visible. Some half characters can be seen at the edge
too, it's not always full characters that are missing.

Hi Spencer,

You may want to also post this in the MS Reader newsgroup (link below)
It could be the font used, or the layout of the page in Word, among other possibilities.

I have used the Word option to convert word documents to reader files for
some time, but have moved to Office 2007. Is that functionality available
anywhere in 2007. I haven't found it.

Hi Kate,

The Read in Microsoft Reader add-in for MS Word is still the one created for earlier versions that was tweaked slightly, in 2004 for
Word 2003. It isn't included with Word but can be obtained from http://microsoft.com/reader/downloads
or http://microsoft.com/downloads and then installed. The download page does not mention Word 2007 and there are some limitations
in using it although many basic Word documents can be converted to basic e-books.

At the release of Word 2007 the MS Reader team had posted that the add-in would be updated, but so far, that hasn't happened, but
the MS Reader product site at http://microsoft.com/reader content has not been updated for awhile.
