Video cripples computer
When I use an application to watch video [WMP, iTunes, RealPlayer, DivX
Player], such an action seems to slow my computer to a near-halt.
Scenario: I double-click a [mpg, divx, avi, etc.] file and it opens the
corresponding application. The application attempts to play the video, but
cannot. Also, while failing to play the video, my computer gets agonizingly
slow [I can watch it "draw" ...

Moving a Movie Maker project
I am working on a project and wanted to take the project home. I copied the
entire folder with all the files onto an external drive. When I opened the
project on another computer, there are red X's in place of all the pictures,
videos, etc. How can I move the project from one computer to another for
editing? Can I use Windows Briefcase to eliminate that problem?...

mepgs wont play on media player 11 with "pinnacle pctv hd pro stic
hey, i need help becuase i can't find anyway to just e-mail technical support
on all of microsoft's webstie directly so i'm hoping someone out there knows
the answer and or can atleast tell me how i can contact someone who does.
so here's the issue.
I got the Pinnacle Pctv Hd Prostick as a gift recently i loaded it on to my
laptop and now i can't play any mpg, or mpeg files on my windo...

windows media file editor
I have a couple of movies that are not indexed. I open windows media file
editor and select one of the movies that i wish to index. I click "save and
index" and it does its thing, but at the end it says "failed to save file". I
don't understand why. Can anyone help me out??...

Hi,everybody out there.
My wife and I have installed some casino games and it's very frustrating to
play because the reels stick,the sound is like echoing and overall it;s no
good.We have even disabled NortonAnti-virus,permited the site thru the

windows moviemaker 2...set up problems...
I have a HP m7680n tower..it has front and back composite plugs..which ones
do I use? do the front set of plugs go to the same place as the rear set of
plugs? I get no audio capture video is working...as for the video capture
wizard window I am not sure which setting to use...where do I set the 'audio
device' & where do I set the 'video input source'?
Any help would be much appreciated.

ieee 1394 doesn't work
i'm trying to transfer images and video from my Sony Mini DC by 2 days as
Windows doesn't recognise the device by firewire cable.
but now i'm in a worse situation: i also lost the ieee 1394 port itself. It
means that, on device manager, what i see is, ieee 1394 doesn't work.
what can i do at that point? d'you have any idea?...
