Can I access a decrypted file if I have all the files backed up?
My situation is a bit different than some I've seen here. I got a new hard
drive and tried for days in vain to clone the old one. I kept getting errors.
Then, I was no longer able to boot my computer with the drive, but I had no
trouble accessing it in a different computer. I did a full backup of the
drive but naturally couldn't
back up system state data. I installed Windows on the new h...

KB930494 - Post installation prevents laptop from entering system standby
Hi,
Have a Dell Inspiron 9300 running XP2, SP2 with all the latest updates
including those of 7/11/07. The hotfix for .NET 1.0.375 is now
apparently preventing my laptop from entering system standby based on
a system error message as the system attempts to standby (i.e., hotfix
is preventing system from entering standby).
Anyone else seen this? Any suggestions to fix?

No infections were found, but I did notice this line:
"Scan error: resource process://PID 3436 (code0x0000054F 1359)"
I looked in 'proexpress,' but didn't see a 3436. The 1359 is supposed to
refer to 'error_internal_error.'
Is this really serious? I notice on many other boards that people are
stating they have also received these "scan e...
