If I set Windows XP color management to "Manual" (say sRGB), I get good colors. Any idea why? Now when echoing this to the backup drive, Sync toy renamed the moved files but failed to remove the empty folder. Have anyone else encountered this problem? In Vista this is driving me crazy: Even though I've excluded the Recycle Bin in SyncToy's "Select Subfolders" section (the entire Recycle Bin branch is deselected), if I do a "Preview" on this task, SyncToy shows me that everything in Recycle Bin will be backed up. I used to send pictures, and resize them, from Windows Explorer (File, Send To, Mail Recipient). I always then got the options to resize them (make files smaller), or not. I used to have the option of "copy to CD" in my "my photos" section. That is gone. When I transfer the story to a DVD the sound balance that plays through my TV is much lower than on the computer presentation. I use SONIC Software to burn the DVD.
