Burning a movie
I created a movie using MovieMaker, the problem is; it will only play half of
the movie but the background music will still play on to the last song. I

result. When I burn the movie to a CD and played it back on my computer and
my brothers computer it played the whole movie. The movie is only 18 minutes
long. What am...

This is the error data from that report.

Can't import video in 16:9.... ????
So I have video that was shot in 16:9, and whenever I try to import it into
Movie Maker, it scrunches it back down to 4:3 which makes the images all
compressed and nasty... does anyone know what's up with that? Am I missing
something, or does Movie Maker just not like anything other than standard? I
feel kinda stupid, too, cause I can do this on final cut, but not on movie

Import error - All file types
Hi!
I've been using WMP 2.1 on XP for quite a while with no problems. Recently
I haven't been able to import any files (mp3s, wmv, wma, mpeg etc) and get
the error message 'D:\*filename* could not be imported. Unspecified error'.
About the only new thing I've done recently is upgrade Zonealarm. I know
it's vague, but any ideas??
Thanks....

Graininess?
Not strictly MM but maybe someone here could answer.
Have some video clips taken indoors with an analogue camcorder and saved via
Matrox capture card as MPEG2.
The video is grainy and lacks definition.
Can MM improve this and if so how?
I also have access to Premiere Elements, would that be better?
Answers appreciated.

Where is option to save directly to DVD?
Hi, I have Windows XP MCE Edition - fully legal and registered and up to date.
But my Windows Movie Maker reports itself as version 2.1.4026. Is this why I
cannot find the burn directly to DVD option ? How can I get the correct
version of WMM so I can burn directly to DVD.
I understand this should be a standard feature of WMM on MCE?...

Will MovieMaker support AVCHD format soon?
Just got a Panasonic HDC-SD1 HD camcorder. It uses AVCHD format (.mts). The

quite weak.
Ideally I'd like to convert AVCHD to WMV-HD. Is there currently a good way

very poor.
Is there a AVCHD codec I can add to Vista MovieMaker, or an...
