I have the movie just like I want it during the edit phase. I have a song that plays at the beginning, and one at the end. Odd thing is, if you play the song clip directly, the audio starts immediately. But when I import it, WMM adds a bit of time at the beginning of the song. My video is recorded on a tape in the camcorder, and I'm trying to tranfer it to my PC using Windows Movie Maker. I have only a USB cord, and when I try to capture the video from the device, Windows Movie Maker says "A video capture device was not detected. Unfortunately, anytime I try to trim or clip the image the information after the cut is blacked out. That would be fine if the part I wanted was in the beginning of the clip, but it's not. My friend converted .dv files into .avi files.
