Cucusoft video converter
I checked out this software (free trial only of course).
It isn't bad as a video converter.
As a DVD Authoring tool it is pretty useless unless you simply want to throw
your video on a DVD that plays when inserted into the player. If you want
anything that even resembles a professional looking DVD then this program is
not one I recommend.
As far as "free" goes the free trial leaves ...

Video does not show when published (Vista WMM 6.0)
I'm making a video using WMM, and Fraps, the video capturing software. The
audio and the pictures within the video are fine, but the video stops showing
after 2:20 in the video (video is 6:25 long). I have tried several different
methods in trying to fix this, but no matter what I do, the video still stops
at 2:20 and all that is left is a black screen for the rest of the video. I

WMM crashing
WMM is crashign when ever i try to add a picture or vid to what I am allready
working on. Let me explain, I am crating a music video for my baseball team.
I haev allready layed te music, and I have a bunch of stills that go to the

DV-AVI option not available when capturing
Hi all
I am using a Sony TRV480E camcorder, and would like to capture the
tape's contents to my HDD in the highest possible resolution. In the
capture screen, however, the DV-AVI format option is "greyed out" and
cannot be selected. Does anyone know why this might be and what I can
do about it?

Switching Audio
I am new to Movie Maker and I was trying to make a video montage for the
first half of my video with a music file playing and no audio from the movie
clips and then the second half I wanted to have the audio from the actual
clips play with no sound from the music. However, when I adjust the volume

Problem saving a movie to the computer
After endless hours of work I wanted to save a 30 minutes movie on my
computer. I tried the recommended setting. When I watched the outcome I found
out that after about 30 images the screen turned black but I still heard the
music I used.
Other programs I have installed: Media Encoder 9 Series, DirectX Enduser

please help-burn with nero 6 or buy something else?
I believe I am using MM2. (under the about section it says version 5.1 and
another line says movie maker 2.1. Anyway, I made a short movie and saved as
an AVi file but when I burn it with nero version 5 my sony dvd player can't
read it-my computer can. Should I buy something like MYDVD just to burn? Or
can I somehow use nero 6?
When I look at amazon my DVD seems to no longer available.

I want to burn more than 60 minutes to DVD
Help
I have captured about 94 minutes of video and Movie Maker gives an
error message stating I can only burn 60 minutes to the DVD.
Is there a work around which will allow me to save this video to a

Movie Maker cannot find capture device
My copy of Movie Maker is unable to capture movie files from my camcorder.
This is a fairly recent problem for me. I connect my Camcorder through a
Firewire card.
What could be wrong? Earlier this week I tried to download these clips, and
I got a prompt box in Movie Maker saying that the capture device is not
installed or working properly, What do you think happened? ...

Problem importing video file
I have taken a video from YouTube using a Firefox add-on. I've converted it
into a WMV file, hoping this would make it functional in Movie Maker, as I
need some clips from it to finish an Anime Music Video I'm working on.
However, when i go to import the video into Movie Maker, I get the following

Can't save movies to my computer
I have Windows XP media center edition. When using Windows Movie Maker, I can
create and edit movie files just fine, right up until the point where I can
save the movie. It appears to save, gives no error messages, but the movie
files are always 0 bytes long and have nothing in them.
I have tried reinstalling Windows Media player, reinstalled the codecs,
everything I could think of or ...

Windows Vista Home Premuim 64 bit & Movie Maker
I just purchased a new computer loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit
and it came with Windows Movie Maker. The Movie Maker program was great and
very easy to use. When I put an audio CD in and tried to drag the audio file

devices not configured properly?
im using windows xp with the service pack 2 and i want to use movie maker to
take the video off of my canon zr80 mini-dv camcorder. every time i try and
capture the video, its shows a size of the video but never shows a preview or

Brady Bunch Takeoff....

cannot uploaded video to Window Movie Maker
My short mov file saved on my desk top, and i tried to updoad my video files
to Window Movie Maker for editing, the message came out below:
001.mov is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows
Movie Maker.

More frames per second
Anybody know how to playback in edit mode at more than 30 frames per second?
We are trying to get pictures of bikes exactly at the finish line, but a bike
traveling 30 mph covers over a foot in a 1/30 th of a second....
