Looking for a Specific Keyboard
I'm looking for a specific Keyboard; I've googled, but get lots of
hits on items that don't match. This is what I need:
* Compatible w/XP Home SP2
* 88-89 keys
* Full-size keys, just like a regular keyboard (NOT a laptop
scissor-key style)
* NO numerical pad off to the right
* USB or PS/2 with a USB connector

Winfast 7600GT Problems
HI all, Hoping someone might be able to help me solve this issue,
I've been at it all day and not got anywhere.
Got a new gfx card this morning for my desktop machine, its a Leadtek

Hi, I'm really out of date with hardware !
I'm about to cobble together an 865PE motherboard with a Pentium D925 on it,
....motherboard has a AGP slot so that I can use my old graphics card,
.....Antec PSU I've been ogling has a 6 pin pci-e supply, does that just

I/O device error
Hi all,
Hopefully this is the right place. I'm new here and dso not have a clue how
it works but i'm desperate for help. I am trying to back up my data in my
toshiba satellite M30-107 with Drang and Drop software. I try to put a blank
dvd to copy all the data just in case but it does not read the DVD-R. I have
DVD super multi drive, the notebook is 2 years old and i have never done this

Swapping COA to a new case?
Hello
I had a customer call and asked me what he should do with the COA sticker on
the back of the case if he purchased a new larger PC Case. I would be
swapping all his original components to the new case, but I have never had to

Problem with Dynamic disk
Hi
I have a PC running XP Pro with two Hard Drives, the C: drive is a basic and
the second drive is a Dynamic.
When I go to Computor Management/Disk management I see that the second drive
shows
Online (errors) and Healthy (at risk).
What does this mean and how can I fix it?

Unable to boot pc on start up
Hi All
I am unable to boot pc on start up. This pc has not been used or connected
for around 3months, when last used was working perfectly. Everything starts
as normal but will not boot.
Is there somrthing I can do or overlooked or could this mean a new motherboard

Dual Boot - need Boot.ini help
I've got a dual boot (supposedly) system. I used to get a boot-up
menu where I could choose which system to boot to. After installing a
new HD, I still get the boot-up menu, but I cannot boot into the
system on the slave drive. Maybe there's something wrong with my
boot.ini file?

Intellitype & Dell laptop keyboard problem
Hi all,

Sound Blaster Live! Sound card
I recently re-formatted a Dell PC (2.8 ghz, 512 mb ram). I put a fresh copy
of Windows XP home on the machine. Everything works fine. Well, almost

PC/Monitor not going to sleep
I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2 and recently the computer just won't go into
sleep mode on it's own.
Normally, the monitor is set to go off after 10 minutes, hard drives after
15, and sleep mode after 20. Right now, the hard drives appear to be
sleeping after not being used, but that's all. It's possible that the drives
are sleeping due to BIOS settings and not Windows though.

Error Message 'F:\ setup.exe is not a valid win32 application'
I have recently installed a LITE ON DVDRW SHM 16P65 and for the most part it
works well, except that when I atempt to load software from a DVD ROM I the
get the error message F:\setup.exe is not a valid win32 application. I have
downloaded the latest firmware from Lite on. It will load software from a CD
rom and play DVD's, CD's and even burn CD's (I haven't tried to burn a DVD

Error Code 31
I have tried installing a linksys wireless adapter to my laptop, and am
getting the message:
"This device will not work because windows could not load the drivers (Code
31)"
I have an internal card that also did not work, I uninstalled that in the
hopes that the linksys card would then start working, and now both cards give
me the error code 31.

All USB controllers offline
I am in a unique situation with this system. It is a new Dell with no PS/2
ports and is all USB. After installing the latest Intel chipset drivers, on
next boot no USB device would work.
I see over the network looking at its device manager in read-only mode that
all USB Host Controllers have yellow bangs saying that the drivers are
missing or corrupted.

Replacement laptop keyboard and funny output
On an eMachines M5105 laptop, I replaced the original HMB891-B01 keyboard
with an HMB891-M01. My information was that it is compatible. But now when
I type e, i, o, q, r, u or w, the output is preceded by ][ (a pair of square

VOB Files & Hadwaer Acceleration
Folks:
For much of this month I have been using the latest version of RealPlayer to
play VOB files on DVD.
At first the video would be unstable (flickering) but the sound was clear &
sharp. So I played around with the Hardware Acceleration settings until
both video & audio were sharp & clear.

Multiple pages of print, print on one piece of paper...HELP!
My situation is, if I print a document that's more then one page, all the
print goes on one piece of paper. Like as if the printer isn't getting the
page breaks.

320GB Western Digital Hard Drive not recognized in XP
Hello-
I bought two identical 320GB WD HD.
My operating system was on a separate hard drive. These 320GB HD's
were used only for storage.
Then, my OS had to be reinstalled a few months ago. After I
reinstalled my OS (WinXP Pro) I tried connecting my two WD HD's but
they were not detected by my operating system as FULL hard drives. It
kept saying that the space on them was "Unallocated"....

Disk space not recovered after file deletion
I've been trying to delete some files from one of my partition on an
80 GB seagate HDD.
Windows will tell me it's too large for the Recycling Bin, so I
choose to delete them permanently, but then the resulting disk space
doesn't get freed up from the deletion of these files (ie: the
reported disk usage and disk free space remain the same on the disk

DVD-Rom won't read some DVDs
I have a built-in Samsung DVD-ROM SD-616F. I am using an HP Pavilion and
running on Windows XP Home Edition 2002 Service Pack 2.
My problem is that for some reason my DVD drive will read some DVDs but not
others. A few months ago it used to play all DVDs.

Problem with internet ADSL
Hi to all, I have a modem Trust MD 4050 and Adsl with 4 M. All work fine for
long time, once day the internet stopped. I turn on modem and PC and the
