Game Crashes
Some of my games crash so i have been advised to download some of the latest
drivers but I have no-idea how and for my graphics card there are hundreds
and i don't know which one to download. My specs are as follows:
Manufacturer: NVIDIA

FSX says MSXML 4 SP2 missing - but it is installed.
I just installed FS X. I get "The MSXML 4 SP 2 component is not installed.
Please reinstall Flight Simulator to restore or repair this missing
component." I have gone through the repair and also verified that msxml4.dll
is installe and registered. How can it get this game to run? Rig is XP Home

Malicious code and Ricochet Lost Worlds by Reflexive
Can anyone advise?
Despite four e-mails to Reflexive and posting to their website, still

Age of Empires III
I'm trying to install Age Of Empires III: War Chiefs and it keeps giving me
the msg
"Age Of Empires III was not installed for Allusers or the current user.

I'm running XP SP2 with one user account and guest account is inactive

Halo display problem.
When halo loads and its at the main screen, right away the screen
keeps on going back and forth from left to right and vice versa. It
wont stop and I cant play. So basically the screen keeps moving and I
cant play. Any help/suggestions? ty, much appreciated, by the way, I
already tried the resolution thingy.

Games Advisor
Hopefully this is the right area to put it. Anyway that site that is used to
see if a game is compatible for your computer, it isn't working right for
some reason all it scans is Company of Heroes, all the others do not work for
some reason. I'm just wondering how to fix that and if its only me....

mss.dll
Since purchasing a computer running XP I have been unable to play an old game
(Might and Magic VI). I keep getting an error related to an mss.dll file.
That file appears in my "C drive" and in the game directory. The game
designer was no help. Any suggestions?

Hi,
who can help me and tell why (I am running windows sp2) I cannot
play all the "standards" games on the web (backgamon, hearts, spades,
reversi, etc...)
For each of them when I try to start I got the same error message (it
is a translation
as I am running a french release)

Unable to install Flight Simulator X
I built a new pc, uninstalled the game on the old pc, and am trying to
install on new pc. OS is Windows XP Pro. The first disc installs just fine
but the second disc is not recognized....

run time error 53
can anyone help a complete novice..when I try to play mahjong 2 and mahjong
galaxy I get the message "run time error 53 file not found add on 2vb-dll",
I've tried uninstalling them and reinstalling them, it worked until I
switched the computer off, I began to get the error again when I tried to
play them. I am a novice so if anyone can help I'd be very gratful.

High scores on game were DELETED by microsoft...
I left my pc on last night and now when I turn on the monitor, I see
that MICROSOFT UPDATED THE SECURITY. I was then going to play a game of
.... microsoft 3D Pinball,.. "SPACE CADET" ..... and I found the High
Scores were DELETED. Most likely by mistake.
Is there a way I can still retrieve Those High Scores?

/novalidate in the target line??
I got Supreme Commander but I cannot currently run it with my video card. I
have read the same complaint on several boards (I guess the programmers
changed it when they went from the beta to the final version) and several
people have said that they ran the game fine with the same card that I have
but had to use the "/novalidate" command in the target line of the shortcut.

rare error with windoes installing newer games LOTRO
yes thats right XP
....on one computer i run lotro just fine with XP its a low spec piece but it
gets the job done for most games :D
however on the other machine i get error messages when trying to install the

logitech mouse
My problem is the middle mouse key (scroll key). I don't have a game
controller connected and I've updated my software. The game recognizes the
scroll key when scrolled up and down, but not when pressed as used for
blocking. When in the options > define keys menu, once blocking is selected,

Missing Text in FSX Menus
I recently had to re-install FSX and now I no longer have any text in the
pull-down menus. I've tried changing the font in displaly properties,
updating my video drivers and everything I can think of trying. Still no text
in the menus.
Install worked fine and FSX runs ok. Activation went ok as well.

Fable mouse troubles
I own a logitech G5 laser mouse. I seem to have problems when pressing the
middle mouse button (scroll key) as used for blocking in the game. I have no
game controllers and have updated the software. When I go to Options >
Redifine keys and select blocking, the scroll key has no effect. Thanks....
