Single Hyphens Imported Into Notepad As Dashes
When I copy text from the web onto the clipboard the hyphens are converted
into dashes, not an ASCI character, so I have been told.
This importation does not involve MS Word at all.
How can I stop that?

Hyphens In Text Converted To Long Dashes When Copied To Clipboard, Outlook Express & Word 2003
I'm using Windows XP Pro SP2.
When I copy text -- in this case chess games, with hyphens -- 0-0 and
0-0-0 -- into the clipboard and then copy into Outlook Express or Word --
the hyphens get converted into long dashes.
Is there some way to prevent that?
Thanks.

Default font in computer changed??
My husband said that the screen was refreshing slowly, so he increased the
DPI. My computer font is so large that it drives me nuts. I've tried all
the usual stuff - changing themes, IE page view, but I can't get it all back
the way is was. For example, the default font in Outlook is too big and it
runs together. Any suggestions?...

Windows Vista Home Premium
Hi,
Where can I post a question regarding Windows Vista Home Premium?
I believe that my question is simple . . .
Does Windows Vista Home Premium software have a partitioning utility?
I wish to partition a 320GB drive and Norton PartitionMagic is not
compatible (according to Prashanta.Kumar of their tech support department in
some other country).
Thanks,

Hide System Tray Icons
Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to hide the icons in the system tray. The
area is very cluttered even though I have removed many icons from it since
installing Windows.
Are there any programs (preferably free) or registry edits I can do? Thanks
in advance.

Custom context menus?
One thing that I wish Microsoft would steal from OS/2 is the context menu
style.
You right click the desktop or an icon and you get the usual menu of actions
that you can do to that item. The part I like about OS/2 is that you can
have multiple targets for a single choice.
An example...

Getting Screen Fonts Right
I'm running XP on a 17" monitor at 1024x1280 at 96dpi
and I find the screen fonts too small.
I've adjusted the settings for the windows appearance
including switching to "larger" fonts, but this doesn't
do much for applications.
For example, in Firefox I've tried changing the font
settings to as high as 18 points, but the text on screen

My friend plays full screen games like WoW a lot, and is on messenger. When
she presses the windows key, it doesnt minimize the game, just bring up the
start menu. She can then click a messenger box, and have it come up OVER her
game, so its never minimized...
