windows 2000 MS Config
I know how to do MSConfig with XP. However, I have an older computer with Windows 2000 and I want to see what programs are starting up. My computer takes forever to start up and I suspect it is because too many programs are starting. I go into Start, right mouse and properties, but the Start menu shows only one program starting up. Moving folders to new hard drive.
I'm running out of room on my C drive. I bought a 160G external hard drive for pictures, music, videos. When moving folders to the new drive, those same folders still exist on the old drive. Not able to turn off system restore
I have been trying to get rid of some Exploit-Byte Verify files that I believe have buried themselves in my system restore file. McAfee solution is to turn off the system restore and then delete files. When I try check the "Turn off system restore" and then highlight the drive and set the number of points to 0, I'm told that I am unable to do that. Any thoughts?...
