Can't download Windows Movie Maker
My Windows Movie Maker won't save movies, and it gives me a bogus error
message (says to check for room on the disk, I have more than 20GB of free
space). I wanted to reinstall it so I went to
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx

Windows Movie Maker won't save movies
It worked fine yesterday. Now I get the message, "Windows Movie Maker cannot
save the file to the specified location." There is plenty of room on the
drive, and all the files necessary to make the movie are available. I get the
same thing with a project that worked fine yesterday. Is there any way to
disable this message or just force it to save the movie???...

No picture but got sound
Hi All
Downloaded version mediaplayer 11, and as before I have sound but no
pictures, why.
I have ensured that the file type is ticked, wmv is the type of video i want
to play. but although it open mediaplyer as the default and plays the sound
I see no picture.
Any help would be welcomed, clearly i must be doing something wrong but what?

I'm unable to play videos using the WMP either 10 or 11, I have been to the
video Accleration setting to remove the ticks from ( use video mixing
renderer ) under both sections the Video Acc and DVD video. As per a post I
seen just before.
I can hear the Audio from the vids but no picture. I'd be greatful for any
help.
WinXP SP2 IE 6

Syncronizing my MP3
Everytime I try to sync my new MP3 I get the following message
"The specified I/O operation on Device/Harddisk5/DR17 was not completed
before the time out period expired."
then Media Player (10) freezes and I have to restart the comp.
Can anyone help please !!!!

I am using Vista and i can play DVD's but i only get Video. No audio. Is
there possibly a way to reinstall it,or is there an update i could try,or

Digital Rights Management
I have several videos for which I bought licenses in the DRM format. I'm
using WMP 10. The problem I had last year was that after updating to WMP 11,
the videos would not play. I had to uninstall WMP 11 and go back to 10.
Then the vids played. I'm wondering if Microsoft has addressed this issue,
as I get pop-up notices when in WMP that an update is available, but have so

Media Player disorganizes my folders
I have several (music CD) albums in one folder. Media player insists on
removing them and putting them in a few folders of its own, based on the
titles of the albums. All of the folders were "ripped" from my CD
collection. Can I organize my own folders, or, must Media Player 11 do it in
it's own "logic?" ...

Found a fix for C0011B1 Error!
I don't know exactly what happened, but something loaded on my computer
tonight and changed a whole bunch of settings. I think it had
something to do with updating iTunes to be compatible with the iPhone.
Anyway, I could not get any sound files to work in WMP 11. I searched
and searched online to find no answers that worked, but now I tried
something and it fixed my problem!

WMPlayer wierd behaviour in Vista
My WMP is doing several wierd things on bith my new desktop and my laptop.
1. Set it to play a normal mp3 file and it takes ages to get started. By
ages, I mean ten seconds plus. It then plays the file, and if I shut down the
WMP window, the sound keeps playing !!! If I then start the Task Manager, and
sort by CPU usage, which should bring it somewhere towards the top of the
processes, ...

New Vista laptop will not stream video only audio
I have a new laptop with Vista and MP11 installed. Some sites will not stream
video only audio and frames instead of video. I have many other xp computers
no matter how old that all stream the same sites that will not work on Vista.
Sites that appear to be flash based seem to work fine. Other sites such as
MSNBC will not stream.
Any ideas?...

Library Track does not play to the end.

Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service Not Installed
Hi
I have a friend with an XP SP2 system trying to get Media Player 11 sharing
working. The problem is that the Windows Media Player Network Sharing
Service is not being installed by default. Using the same downloaded install
file on two other XP SP2 systems the service is installed by default. I've
tried reinstalling a few times, even removing Media Player fully but with no
succes...

Windows Media Player 11 on Vista Playing / streaming problems
Hi, Can anyone help me.
I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 2Gb 32 bit notbook with Vista. I have all my
library stored on a WD external 320Gb harddrive. And a wired connection to my
amp. When playing any of my MP3 320 format files they jump and cut out in
places.
Does anyone know if this would be the harddrive or media player's 11
problem?, and a way around it?, as am thinking of investing...

DRM error after importing tracks from yahoo music jukebox
I have had this problem before. I download and store music on my hard drive
via Yahoo Music Jukebox. For some reason I feel the need to allow WMP
(version 11) to import those songs into the library. After doing so, I go
back to Yahoo Music Jukebox, and there is a DRM error. While using Windows
XP the simple fix was to uninstall WMP, then YMJ, then reinstall both. I am
now using Vist...

AC97 media encoder problem
Hi,
I experience major problems with getting a AC 97 system up and running under
Vista.
I have a Gigabyte sinxp1394 Mobo with AC97 chipset and Vista ultimate. I
upgraded the driver with the realtek 6.0.6243 version I downloaded from
Realtek.
Recording turned out to be impossible in an erratic way. Nor the build in

Unable to burn to CD since WMP 11 install: does not see blank disk
Since downloading and installing WMP 11, been unable to burn audio files from
library to CD.
Can playback pre-recorded CDs just fine, but when blank disk inserted into
same drive, Player does not see it and get message "please insert blank cd".
Machine operates on Win XP. Installed latest updates. Re-installed Player

WMP 11 streaming audio/video
Hi, in regards to media player 11 with Vista. When I click on a streaming
audio or video clip, the clip starts playing almost immediately without
waiting for the file to completely download, this is great. My wife's P.C.,
with Vista plays some of the same audio /video clips but has to wait for them
to download completely before they play which irritates her to the point that
she wont dow...

Full Screen Mode Issue
Whenever I use media player to open any of my video files, it goes directly
into full screen mode and the controls do not show at all. I went to the
options and made sure the full screen controls were enabled. I have tried
