Streaming viewable from my pages only
Hello,
I'm realy new at Windows Media Server.
As start i need to know if there is a way to protect my website.
I want people to be able to see the videos freely FROM my pages but not to
save files or to insert the code in other website.
Is that possible ?

roll up 2 conflict
i have installed the rollup update2 on my media edition pc
now i get media centre reciever service error box every 10 seconds or so the

Last 15 seconds of every song I play has breaks/skips before it en
I have a Windows Vista x64 new pc. Every song I play through media player
plays fine until the song almost ends, then the songs breaks in and out and
then finishes normal. Every song does this. I also have iTunes, which does
not do this. I prefer WMP...any ideas on what is going on with my player?...

Really frustrating but, I tend to believe that "operator error" has to be a

Display Settings & Screen Resolution
When I try play a DVD i get the error message
"Windows Media Player cannot play DVD video. You might need to adjust your
Windows display settings. Open display settings in Control Panel, and then
try lowering your screen resolution and color quality settings"

WMP11 Playlists not appearing
I've had nothing but problems with trying to use WMP as my main music
management program. I like the program fine, but it's got some amazingly
deep flaws that I'd love some help with.
My main user acct wont even allow new files to be added to the library.
Just wont register them. Media sharing panel crashes the player.

Multiple encoders to the same publishing point?
Hi,
We are just switching over to Windows Media after years of using RealSever.
We have 3 different locations that provide our main live stream. Is there a
way to set up a publishing point so that all 3 encoders can access the same
publishing point without having to switch something on the server every time?

choosing MP3's from streaming media server
I am runing a 2003 server with the media server. I own many MP3's and the
time it would take to convert them would be immeasureable. I currently
stream the MP3's randomly but i have no option to choose what songs to listen
to. Is there a way to set something up so that i can choose what MP3's i
want to listen to? Some form of directory structure or play list or any

Change default playlist folder
I am currently using WMP10 and I would like to know if it is possible to
change the default playlist folder for where playlists are stored. I'm trying
to change it from My Playlists to just Playlists. Is this possible?? I'm
using server 2003 so WMP11 isn't an option.

Error Message C00D1069 wmp 11 playing URGE radio
I just subscribed to URGE (all to go) and successfully purchased a song.
Account seems OK?
But when I tried to play a FREE radio station I got "Error Message C00D1069"
and the wmp dialog that no further technical assistance is available?
Prior to subscribing I could play FREE radio stations. I am running XP Pro
SP2 and previously had a working subscription to MSN Music.

I have no experience using Microsoft Media products, but I would like to know

Problem Displaying Album Art in Library - Windows XP
I am having problems with displaying Album Art in the WMP11 Library. Here is
a description of the issue. I apologise for the amount of detail, but I
wasn’t sure what would be important to include.
- When I rip a CD, the Album Art appears during the ripping process but when
I go into Library the Album Art doesn’t appear. What appears is the normal
Paste Art here.

WM Encoder
I'm using Windows Media Encoder to convert "mov" files from my Nikon Coolpix
camera to "wmv" files.
My intent is to then take the "wmv" files and make a movie using Windows
Movie Maker.
The files seem to convert OK but I've noticed on the longer videos, the ones
lasting 60 seconds, the audio goes away after about 24 seconds.

Search Issue
Before this issue , when i search a term in the box, it would sow narrower
song choices, on the screen.
for eg Search "Artic monkeys"
As i type artic
It would show
Albums
3 found
Songs
4 found
etc....
Now, this is gone, it still searches but only shows these things on the
dropdown menu of the searchbox
Any solutions??

Aspect Ratio displayed as 11:8 instead of 4:3

How can I play the WM11 in a website??
When I want to hear a song from a website it does not play at all.
Since I have Windows Vista, I would think that might have something to do
