Playing DVDs help and MPG-3: wats the best codec?
Hey everyone,
im having problems with playing movies on my laptop with wmp11. My movies
playing very slowly and upside down. If anyone can sugest a codec just by

Downloading windows media player
Ok, so i just baught a $250 phone. I have a chip in it so i can put song on
it. But i have to have the newest version of windows media player. everytime
i try to download it a "This page can not be displayed" page comes up. I've

WMP 11 lyrics bugs
A well known bug of Windows Media Player 11 is, it is unable to store
lyrics to files. Lyrics added by any other tool (including a previous
version of Media Player) are shown correctly, but as soon as you go to
Advanced Tag Editor, they are gone.
Has this bug been discussed to WMP developers, or is there a work
around for this I don't know?

Sync Only if Converted?
I'm so close to having a nice automated set-up for syncing my TV shows from
my Vista Media Center with my Windows Mobile 6 Pocket PC, but there's one
catch that is very annoying.
What I usually do is leave Windows Media Player on in the background, and it
does its nice little thing of automatically converting my specified shows as
they're recorded, and it's great!

Tag editor not available
I wanted to add lyrics in my WMP 11 ,but i coundn't find the advance tag
editor in my WMP 11...

Using SD as input
Problem: I've recorded a local group on a 2G SD using the Zoom H4 Handy
Digital Recorder. Using SD slot transfer or USB cable, I cannot get the tunes
to play after loading them into My Music and bringing them up in the library.

Displaying Photos in WMP

DVD RW
Hi,
I have just firewired a short film from my video camera on to the computer
with no problem but when I come to put it on to a cd it seems to load on to
it right up to about 90% then a message comes up saying an unknown error has
occured and has been unsuccesful.
I have tried playing a film as well and the error comes up saying I need a
plug in can somebody HELP!!!

wmp11 final does not play hi definition video properly
Hi,
After downloading wmp11 final, I have been using it for a while now and if I
try to play a hi definition movie 720p or 1080p I get about 2 or 3 frames per

WMP10 Find Album Info Library Wrong
I was attempting to talk my mother through ripping a CD tonight and finally
realized her computer had update her Media Player to 11. I HATE 11. All the
options like "Find Album Info" and "Search for Media" appear to be missing.
Anyway, I had her uninstall WMP11, download WMP10 and install it. Now when
she clicks on "Find Album Info" it goes to windowsmedia.com and finds nothing

Having quite a few problems with WMP11
I've had a few problems with WMP11 since I switched to Vista.
I guess the main one is that it keeps randomly removing artists from my
library. Tracks will still play if they're part of a playlist, but I have to
re-add the artist. It's not even obscure unplayed ones either - the latest
one was Children of Bodom, and lastfm lists them as my 11th favourite artist
