Startup Programs Removal
I usder "system configuration" to remove a couple programs that shipped with
my new computer that I have no interest in using. Now when I start up I got
a "Blocked Programs" notification in the system tray. When I restarted
System Configuration Utility I noticed that there are several items from

Jerky Mouse & Sound Issues
Installed Vista Ultimate 32bit on new WD 200GB hard drive.
I'm running:
- Supermicro MB
- P4 3.2Ghz
- 3GB RAM
- Radeon X600 Graphics
- RealTec AC97 Audio
- Logitech Wireless KB & Optical Mouse
My Vista low base score is 3.5 and everything else is 4 or 5, so I'm
assuming it should run fine.
My problem is this:

Backup failure
I have a new DELL dimension E520 with vista business installed by Dell. The
computer was set up to backup files to the recovery "D" drive. After only
three weeks or so I started getting messages saying the last backup had
failed due to insufficient disk space (the partitioned D drive was set at
10GB and almost all of the space had been used). Since I wanted to do

Web Cam stops keyboard
If I leave my USB webcam plugged in when I reboot, I cannot access my system
bios or boot sequence as my USB keyboard is not active until after the boot
access sequence has gone. Is there a way of prioritising my USB ports so that
I can leave my web cam plugged in and still use the keyboard? I know I can
just unplug it and it seems trivial but it just annoys me having to do it....

backup in Vista
After only using Vista about two months and having an automatic weekly
backup, the backups started failing because it said there was no room on the
recovery drive. So I went in and deleted the backup files on the recovery
drive (I left the "sources" and "Windows" files).
Now the weekly backup just says it fails without saying why! What can I do?...

Explorer Crashes
I am runnning Windows Vista and whenever I use explore to transfer files, the
window crashes. It states "windows explorer has stopped working" and then
states that its restarting (but it never does).

Scanner will not work
I installed Vista on 5/2. i have an Epson CX6400 all in one.
Up until 10 days ago my scanner was working properly. Now it will not scan.
I am told that I do not have "Microsoft WPD filesystems volume driver".
I tried to update this and I am told that my driver is up to date. ??? No
scanner.
I have reinstalled the software for the printer. No scanner. It looks to me
to be a Microsoft ...

Shutdown, i see the 'shuting down' message, but the computer doesn
Whenever I shut down my computer, all windows close successfully and I am
given the blue/green screen with the message 'shutting down'. However, the
blue circle spins indefinately and I end up having to force shutdown which
ultimately causes problems upon restart. Any ideas why this is happening??
Vista Home Premium.

"Couldn't get process information from remote machine"
This message pops up when I first log on to my computer. I am using Windows
Vista and a password-protected account on my desktop. The only option
provided is to click OK to close the pop-up window. Everything seems to work
normally. Any idea why this is happening and how to eliminate the pop-up?...

Links will not open.
Dont Know if links is the right word but! When clicking on a red page link
that someone has posted or starting a new post I just get a blank page. I

Windows explorer in constant crash loop
hey all
After I go through the login screen in Windows Vista, I get an error message
stating that windows explorer has crashed. It doesn't matter if I choose
restart program or check online for solutions, the error message still pops

going into folder - delay !!!!
everytime when i'm going into document folder the windows going into delay
when opening the folder.
this happen every time on few computers with Vista Business.
the documents inside this folders are word, excel.

windows vista freezing
I am getting a lot of freezes with windows vista, where the mouse only works
then a couple of mins later that freezes too. The only way round is to
switch off, into safe mode, then re boot into windows.
It seems to have stopped now I have removed the Nvida 64 bit latest drivers
and reverted to the ones that came with the disc.

I can't uninstall any programs, and no add ons will work in IE
Help I recently had a verizon tech out to my house to replace a bad router
now Flash and Java will not work in IE, plus my uninstall programs will not
even start to uninstall anything. I click on the program I would like to

Old tasks in Task Scheduler
When opening up Task Scheduler there are several tasks in the task scheduler
library that seem to be leftovers. For instance:
Name/Status/triggers/Next Run Time/Last Run time ....

Windows explorer keeps crashing
okey i think i have a bug that is really enoying
i have my computer over clocked 15%

when i go back a little it is working without any problem
also removing the clock out of the sidebar helps a little only i want to
clock it further that 8 % or something

display screen text and graphics are getting fuzzy and bold
I have had windows vista for three months now and when I loaded a print
server driver on my laptop today i noticed the screen had changed and the
text has become blurry/fuzzy and not as clear as it was before. I have tried

Vista ultimate Internet access problems
I am using the 64 bit version (finally) of vista Ultimate. However,
for the past week I have noticed a real inability to get on the net.
The most obvious problem occurred when Web access was inoperative.
