I just acquired a new maxtor 3200 external hard drive, 160 gig. I went to do a backup with the built in Windows backup tool. I repeatedly received an error message with the following: "There is not enough space on your Windows disk to prepare for backing up your files. At least 400mg of free space is required to continue. First manual backup worked fine but all subsequent incremental ones (automated or manual) have failed with "windows error 0x81000001." There's plenty of room on the drive, it shows up in explorer, and seems to be working fine.
