Please help! thumbnail view is not my photos
I have downloaded my photos from my digital camera to my computer with vista
and when i click photos to view them, i see each photo numbered but the
thumbnail is not my photos, it is a generic vista photo of mountains and a
lake for all the photos. when i click on the photo, then my photo shows up,
but i do not know what photo i am previewing.
can anyone help me!!!...

MP3 CD Burned in XP, Not Readable in Vista?
I burned a CD-R in Windows XP with a selection of MP3s using Windows XP's
built-in CD burning method. Now I'm using Windows Vista. When I insert the
disc a window pops up asking me to drag files I want to burn to the disc into
the window. Windows Explorer recognizes the CD label, but doesn't see a
single file.
What's going on here?...

Distortion on windows media player playback
i have windows vista ultimate. i like the wow srs effects. however, as with
realpalyer..the crossfade, when activated causes skipping at the end of the
song. also, with windows media player w/ srs enhancement, there are popping
sounds throughout during playback..solutions????...

Windows Photo Gallery
Anyone get this error: "Photo Gallery can't open this picture because you do
not have permissions to access this file location."? If I right click on the
picture and hit edit it will open up fine along with the edit tools. I do
have access to these files because they are in the picture folders and the
desktop. I tried to change the permissions of the file and still no luck. The

Photo Gallery: not indexing Pictures folder
Hey, can anyone help me out?
Recently upgraded to Vista Home Premium. Liking it, but running into some
odd behaviors:
1. The Photo Gallery does not list the Pictures folder in its folders, and
does not show the pictures from that folder. Dragging files into Photo
Gallery copies them to the Pictures folder, but they still don't show up.

cd burning failure-4221
I cannot complete a cd burn in either media center or i tunes. Media center

Can't add media files to WMP 11 Library (Vista)
Hi all, I wondering if you can't help with a small problem.
My WMP 11 seems to have wiped all of my library, but when i try to add new
folders via the browse option it appears to of added them, but it wont add
any of the media files (video & music) to the library. And when i go back
into the monitor files/folders window, any folders i have added are missing
and it just a blank box.

Media Player Static
Whether it is something that I've ripped or downloaded I get static and
freezing around the 3 minute mark when playing back music. Doesn't happen to
the same tracks all the time....

Windows Movie Maker problem with avi files
Hi, I have the following problem, when I try to edit a AVI files (not all)
WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER insert the file in the AUDIO section instead the VIDEO
section, so I'm unable to edit the file........

WMP 11 in Vista Ultimate stopped being able to update media librar
My Windows Media Player 11 in Windows Vista Ultimate has stopped allowing
updates. This means I can't rate any songs, download files from Urge or

Buffer Over Run for Quicktime 7.x and Windows Media Player
I know this has been asked before, the error message of "buffer over run" and
the application (quicktime) terminating, but it is now also ocurring in
windows media player after last microsoft updates.
All of Apple potential solutions have not worked. Has anyone been successful
in finding a work-around, or a reason why the error messasge is ocurring.

Media Player won't open?
I have a new HP laptop with Vista Home Premium on it. For about a month after

When changing tracks in windows media player 11 a message comes up on the
bottom left of the player saying media changing, and it takes about ten
seconds to change tracks. Can you make it so there's no delay between tracks

Photo Slide Show CD / DVD
I am thinking of upgrading to Windows Vista. But my only reason for doing so
is to make CDs/ DVDs of the slide shows that I put together for my family who

Can someone give me a link to the web site for support where I can
deauthorize-authorize my msn music purchases? Everything has changed and I
keep going around in circles! A week ago I could play all my d/l from MSN

Audio won't Work with some Video Files
I've been trying to upload some videos from my digital camera and the audio
doesn't seem to upload with them. Audio works with other videos on my
computer, just not the ones that I've uploaded to my computer. I even
uploaded the videos to my other computer and the audio worked just fine.
Does anyone know how to fix this?...

RAW Viewer Vista
Hello,
I cannot find an Microsoft RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer for Windows Vista.
i have tried to install the XP version

Error trying to play WMV-HD on DVD content in Vista Media Center
When I try to load wmv-hd content (disc 2 of step into liquid, specifically)
I get a "Bad Image" error, with additional info: Exception Processing Message
0xc000007b.
Google does not reveal any solutions to this problem. I know I'm grasping
at straws but I am very frustrated with this error message.

Dreamscene seems to have messed up my desktop. Help!
I have Vista Ultimate on my laptop. I read about Dreamscene, did nto know I
had it on my system, and decided to try it. Well, it looks cool and all, but
I wanted to go back to the picture(s) I liked for my desktop wallpaper.
