Kodak Easy Share Gallery
I am unable to download the latest software for Kodak Easy Share Gallery,
which is supposed to be compatible with Vista. Every time the download
starts I get a message that Windows has encountered a program and will close
the program. When a solution is found, etc. Thought maybe this was Norton
and I shut down the firewall, etc. to test it, but, it's a no go. Please
help if you can. I ne...

Windows Photo Gallery - Large Gallery
I have over 400,000 images in my gallery (on a server) and I noticed that it
doesnt try and cache all the thumbnails for fast performance. It seems like
the pictures.pd4 file has a cap of 350k on it but I have more than enough
space for it to be bigger.
Does anyone have any help for being able to optimize huge galleries? This is
almost unusable in its current form. I'm thinking of going...

pixel aspect ratio correction; .jpg glitch
Vista seems to be radically distorting .jpegs.
This issue is inconsistent. I have many hundreds of photos stored as .jpgs
and they seem to dsplay fine, as thumbnails, previews, or when opened into
photoshop. But I also have 100's of illustrations and sketches, stored in
..jpg format, and many--not all [lets say: 1 in 5] are being viewed in Vista
thumbnails and previews as squashed in...

computer renaming photos
When I first got my computer, I selected the option to allow the computer to
rename all the photos I import. I don't want it that way anymore. I'd like to
stick with the file names the camera gives, like IMG007. How do I go back to
that?...

Line-in Audio Sound Pass-through
For Realtek software fix go to www.realtek.com.tw, select Downloads, then
High Definition Codecs. Download/install the executable file, "Vista_R167."
No special preparation steps required for computer. Just save to file and
install. You get a new Sound Manager that works great.

Display driver for media player 11 (vista)
My computer keeps freezing when I play music on media player in full screen.
I don't think it does it when I have media player minimized. I get a note on
the bottom of my screen that the display driver has recovered from an error
so I was wondering where to go to download an updated display driver. I
don't know a ton about computers so I'm trying to figure things out as I go.

I have been successful, using windows movie maker 2.1, to make DVD's of

Burned music CD has no sound.
Today I tried to burn my first music CD using Vista and Media Player. I
used the MP3's that I've ripped from my personal CD collection to my computer
using my old XP machine. All of which play fine on media player.
When I popped the newly created CD into my trucks player, it only read one
track, and had no sound. Once I got to work, I tried it on my laptop, an XP
machine, which also...

Mic & Speaker Troubles
I got a new computer not too long ago (Windows XP), and so far, it's been
great. However, it's got some sound issues:
The main problem I've been having is with my mic. I use an online chat
program called Ventrilo when playing online games. What friends have told me
is that when I speak in my mic, any sound playing on my computer (winamp
songs, game sound effects, etc.) records as well (...

Vista DVD Maker is giving us all problems -HELP
Hey all. I've had the same problems with Vista DVD Maker as everyone else is
reporting....we get to 99.2% and it says something generic like "an error has
occured"..it then spits out the DVD which is rendered useless....over and
over and over.
I've seen a few people say that they have new HP computers and found some
kind of fix by unregistering and registering certain files, or uninst...
