WMP crashes
Hi.
When i try to launch WMP11 it just crashes. Even when i launch a webpage
which have WMP11 content, and my browser close. I have to find a way to
reinstall but i can't find anything. I can't delete my WMP11 folder. I have
tryed to watch tv online both on FF and IE7...
Do any know what i can do, and please i dont wanna reinstall...

Why do programs split
The problem I am having is when I install programs (mostly games) lately
(since using Vista), the screen displays the game screen split to opposite
corners: i.e., what should be the lower left of the screen is in the
upper-right quarter, and that section is in the lower-left quarter, and etc,
with the middle sections, both from top to bottom, and left to right missing
(unviewable).

Saving pictures
Why is that when I try to save a pic as a jpeg file the comp. wont allow me
to accept that type of file. It only has the option for an art file or bitmap....

Where do they go?
I have posted three times, gotten emails saying I have replies, and never

Windows Movie Maker -
My Movie maker stops during publishing, and the time climbs without progress.
I've tried posting this twice, but never saw it here. If I reboot 5-6 times,
it'll works once. Do I have to buy something else to make the program work?

Movie Maker Crashes While Encoding
I recently installed Window's Vista on a new hard drive. I'm running an
Athlon 3200, 1 GB RAM. When I try to publish the movie to DVD, it begins the
encoding process and gets to around 3-10% and then shuts off. I don't think
the actual DVD recording begins until the encoding is completed??? I'm new
to Vista so you'll have to explain things in a little more detail. I can't

Movie Maker stops during "Publish"
I had used Movie Maker several times for vid and stills, with no problems. In
the past week I can get partially "published" and then the timer goes sky
high. Nothing else happens. Sometimes rebooting 5-6 times will let it run
thru once. I've had the same clips go thru and publish, and the same ones
hang up . Do I have to buy a "full version"?...

.wmv files wont play in wmp11?
I just ran accross this problem. I can't seem to open or play any file with
..wmv
I get an error saying :
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the
file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."
I tried other files and I get the same error.

Importing Pictures
When I used to insert my memory card into the F: Drive, Auto Play would pop
up and I would select Windows Gallery and tag my photos so they were
inported. However, now Windows Gallery is no longer an option (I had
installed Photoshop, but have since uninstalled it). How can I get Windows
Gallery to be my default importer again? Any idea? It is not even option and

Windows Movie Maker Crashes

I have a problem with Windows Movie Maker. It will import media fine but as
soon as I try to drag anything into the timeline (video or photo), the
application crashes and I get the message "Windows Movie Maker has stopped

I keep getting this error when trying to play music ripped to the library. No
music- other than music WMP came with- plays without a disc in the drive. I

Backing up photo gallery settings...
I have a TON of pictures on my computer. The photogallery looks kind of cool;
I've been avoiding the picasa/adobe photogallery/yadda yadda, but I'm
starting to think about caving.
Here's the thing: if I take the time to rate and tag all those pictures, it
most likely take QUITE a while. Is there a way to backup the tags/ratings? If

Pictures in Start menu no longer working
Hi
I'm not sure what happened yesterday when I was working on some pictures but
the Pictures link in the Start menu is no longer working. Clicking it
produces no result and right-clicking and selecting Properties shows no
information at all, no file type, 0 for size, etc.
I also checked the Customize Start Menu in the Control Panel and Pictures is
no longer listed.

Strange iTunes behavior on Vista

Pixela (Sony)
Pixela is Sony software that came with my DVD Handicam, and I need it to DL
the videos to my HD.
Of course, it is not compatable with Vista.

Urge music store
I just bought a laptop with vista premium and I am admin on the box but for
whatever reason I have not been able to download the urge music store.
Everytime I try it I get a C:\Programdata\media make sure you have access to
