Viewing actual picture in folder
Ok, this may be a simple answer but I'm unable to figure it out. Inside my
picture folder I have hundreds of pictures in there. In the default settings
I was able to view the actual picture in the folder when the views was set to
medium, large and extra large. I installed Nero 7 and choose setup to
associate with all photos, well this change all my folers and picture to
there Nero vie...

Internet disconnects when working with PSP
My 3 month-old Dell DimensionE21 with Vista Home Premium disconnects from
the internet whenever I work with my favourite photo-program Corel Photo
Shop Paint XI, so I have to reboot every time after having used the program.
I installed the patch Corel offered to make the program useable with Vista,
but the disconnecting still happens.
I'd be very grateful for any advice or help in this mat...

Importing Pictures
Ok when i import pictures from my camera to my pc..... how can you make
windows import the new pictures......because windows is importing old pics
with the new pics...and it does this everytime...it starts from the same pic...

Pictures wont add (movie maker)
When i import pictures to the movie maker it works fine, but when i go to add
the pictures, videos, music or anything to the story line it wont work (they
dont appear).
Whats the problem, as it used to work?...

Default Music Folder disappeared.
The default music folder disappeared, how can I get it back, creating a new
folder called music did not work.

Adobe says FU, well I say it back
Just thought I'd throw my voice in. I joined this thread specifically as my
new Windows Vista is not happy with my older Adobe Photoshop elements 5.OLE
or my Adobe Premiere 6.0. Both older programmes, but suit my needs fine. I
note that cliking on Photoshop Help gets me directly into Windows Photo
Gallery Help, and I was forced to import video via Windows as well, which is
now totally...

Green bar above and below video
I am using Windows Media Player 11 for Windows Vista Ultimate. I am running
on Compaq Presario SR1020IL having Intel 845G chipset (Intel Extreme
Graphics).
Whenever I play a video whose aspect ratio is not the same as that of my
monitor (i.e. 4:3) in fullscreen mode, a green background appears in the
region that is not covered by the video. This is irritating, it should be
black like ...

Need help with buring a CD, (new to it)
To start off for some reason I can not rip this cd to the computer, its a
copy in mp3 form and had 177 songs on it. First can I burn a cd with the
other one playing? Then how do I get it on one cd like it is. If anyone is
willing to walk me through this I would be very greatful. I'm wanting to make
this cd for my father-in-law for his B-Day.... Please help, and Thank you....

restoring deleted pictures
Okay, I accidentally deleted (or sent to the recycle bin) photos from the
Kodak Easy Share program. I then went to the recycle bin and "restored" all
of them, which according to Windows is supposed to restore them to their
original location. However, I cannot seem to find them anywhere now. Any
thoughts?...

WMM 6.0 on Vista Home Premium - get's stuck while publishing
I created a project with Photos and videos from a Canon Digital Camera. I
had successfully published this project to a DV-AVI file once. But then when
I added some more pictures, transitions and video and publish it, it get's
stuck at 14%.
I already have the problem of it now showing a preview of the storyboard. It
shows preview from imported audio/video/music from the imported medi...

Long titles on WMC
Is it possible to make long titles scroll on Windows Media Center Vista
version? All I can see is part of it, and three points at the end. I hoped
it to scroll using a marquee effect or similar.

Vista Photo Gallery
On a factory-installed Vista the Photo Gallery is empty although I have all
my pictures in the Pictures folder. I cannot import from that folder because
WPG says the folder is a system folder. I cannot import any pictures from any
other folder. When connecting my camera, the import dialog starts, the system
is busy importing, but then no pictures are to be found in WPG or anywhere
else.

WM11 Vista WMV playback issues
Since installing Vista I have had an issue with WMV playback using WM11. If
I playback a WMV the picture is all blocky and mainly green in colour. It
looks like some kind of codec problem. This problem happens with all WMV
files. If I play the WMV in another media player such as the DIVX player it
plays fine. The only other codec's I have installed other then that of the

Cuando quiero escuchar musica y elijo más de una canción, al llegar al final
de la canción la canción se entrecorta.
Esto me pasa con canciones que ya tenia en mi ordenador antiguo y con
canciones de muestra que habia en mi nuevo ordenador.
En cambio si solo quiero escuchar una funciona perfectamente....

Media Center Random Launch
While using my Vista Ultimate OS computer, various applications, i.e. Office,
Photoshop CS3, etc. Windows Media Center randomly launches itself knocking
out the application that is running. Even if I have blocked Media Center
from being default program in various applications, it still continues its
random launches. Any ideas on how to stop this?

Quite often when copying files, normally pictures, I get a dialog box
asking if I want to "Copy this file without its properties...".
The copy always seems to work, so what is the message referring to?

Hybrid TV on Vista Home Premium
Hello to all.
I have AverMedia Hybrid+FM PCI TV tuner installed with built-in drivers but
unfortunately Windows Media Center scans only for digital (DVB-T) signal, and
I am unable to make it listen to analog TV channels (region is set to Russia,
TV Guide is off). What should I do to listen to analog TV or FM radio?

Permanently delete music, contacts, pictures etc folders
does anyone know how to permanently delete the folders which are located in
computer/local disk (C:)/users/your user name. I have tried to shift delete
the music, contacts, favourites, pictures etc folders but they come back
within the day, usually after i boot my computer.
i know in xp they can be removed by Start > Run > type in - regsvr32 /u
mydocs.dll but in vista i get a me...

recording vinyl albums to computer - only getting one channel
I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium.
I'm using the tape out from an old preamp to connect to the Line In on my
sound card. It is recording but I only seem to be getting one channel (no
stereo).
I can play some of the sample music files that came on the computer and I'm
getting both channels.
Any ideas?

No image after Publishing
I've been using Movie Maker for a few years, but I've /never/ come acros this
issue before.
Editing and creating my video is fine, nothing wrong there, but after
publishing, the plyback is messed up.
There is Audio, but no picture... Just a thin static green line down the
center of the window. This happens no matter which setting I select for
publishing.

movie maker and DEP issue
recently bought a pc with vista home premium. tried to import videos and it
comes up with an issue where movie maker must close due to Data Execution
Prevention. it says if DEP is stopping trusted programs, turn it off for that
program via control panel, this cant be done for movie maker as movie maker

No Tv tuner configurated
Hi there,
i have a very anoying tv tuner problem. After rebooting my computer Media
center tells me that no tv tuner is configurated.
So every time again i reconfigure the tuner and my tv runs normal and
great...but as soon as i reboot, i have to reconfigure it again.

Mic Volume Level Auto-Adjusts
With this new style audio mixer, I've only had problems. Windows tried to
