message / send or receive size limitation
A local rep for a cable ISP claims that windows mail has a limitation on the
size of messages (i.e. including pictures) that didn't exist or was larger
in Outlook Express.
The only size limitation I know of is by the ISP.

spell check
I think you need to get spell check back as it was. I find this new approach
very unhelpful and waste my time. which costs me money.
I just purchased a brand new computer with VISTA. what do you mean by saying
that this language "English" is no longer avalable for spell check. spell
check is the most valuabvle tool for me becasue my fingers cannot sopell.

Sent Items Disappear
When i send items they all appear correctly in my sent items folder. However
after about four weeks they just disappear. Have checked various settings and
everything appears to be ok. Any Ideas

Error 800ccc0f while accessing secured (SSL) newsgroup
I'm using my brand new PC with Vista Ultimate to access mail and news.
Evrything is OK except to access secured (SSL, port 563) news server. When
Windos :ail try to download the newsgroup list, I quickly get an error
messagebox telling the connection has been interrupted by the server
(protocol NNTP, port 563, SSL:1, code 800ccc0f).

Er is een onbekende fout opgetreden
In mijn postvan IN staat een bericht, dat niet geopend, verplaatst of
verwijderd kan worden.
Er verschijnt een bericht, dat een onbekende fout is opgetreden en dat
ikmoet kijken of er voldoende ruimte op de schijf is of in het geheugen. Nou
deze computer is 3 weken oud en dus nog zo leeg als een onbeschreven vel.
Wie weet raad, dat bericht moet weg :)...

Attachment problems
After migrating from XP to Vista and bring over most of my XP files (e.g.
Favourites,emails etc) the first problem I ran into was attempting to send an
email with an attachment. After typing up the message I clicked on Attach &
Windows Mail(or LIve Mail) immediately shut down. I could drag the file into
the message but not attach it.
Problem was solved via IE7 as follows:

Windows photo gallery won't email
I am running Vista with Outlook 2003 as my prefered email. When I try to
email a photo from photo gallery I receive a message that "Operation Failed".

Vista - Windows Mail - Rely link issues
Hi folks, I'm a new VISTA user with the following Windows Mail/IE issue.
When I'm in either IE or Windows Mail and click onto a highlighted email
link (found within either a written email to me, OR found on a webpage),
instead of Windows Mail opening a new blank message to write in (to said

Can't open links in Windows Mail
I click on a link in email and an message pops up with the link address in it
with "application not found" under it. I've tried changing the program access

WMail downloading 258 of 131 messages
Each day WMail under Vista says it is downloading example: 572 of 351
messages. It does this in all the newsgroups that I subscribe to. I have
used the right click > Catch-up option for each newsgroup, but still the
next day, the same thing happens. Can I catch up, so that if I have 500
messages to download, I actually download 500 messages? Thanks.

On some e mails that I receive, there is a picture on the e mail, but I can
not open it. It has a red x. it is not shown as an attachement. the picture
is on the same page as the e mail. can you advise how I can bring up the

I am having a problem with the vista spell check as well as f7.
They both will either correct a few words, or not correct any and just say
the spell check is complete.

Herstelpunt gebruiken werkt niet
Hallo daar. Het blijkt dat er dus nogal wat mis gaat met vista. Met name met
de mail lees ik problemen die ik dus ook heb. Maar heeft iemand van jullie
ook problemen met een herstelpunt gebruiken.
Ik probeer mbv een herstelpunt mijn laptop opnieuw te herstellen. Maar na
het opstarten geeft hij aan dat er een onbekende fout is opgetreden. Komt dit
bekend voor??

Can't se own newsgroup postings...

I'm experiencing a funny thing.
When i post a message to a newsgroup, i can't se the posting myself. I can
se the responses i get and i can se the earlier postings i have maid, prior

How do I cancel download message later?
In Windows Mail, you get the list of newsgroup messages and decide you would
like to download them later, so right click on them and select Download
Message Later which puts a blue arrow in the second column.
In Outlook Express, there was an option under message to cancel the download
message later flag, I can't seem to find it in Windows Mail.
Other than deselecting each one individua...
