moving pictures
I can not for the life of me figure out how to move my pictures form windows
mail folder into my windows photo gallery. P.S. I'm not very computer smart
so please explain in dumb persons language....

Distribution Lists in Windows Mail
Hello,
I previously used Microsoft Outlook and have several distribution lists I
would like to continue to use in Windows Mail (Vista Premium). Is this
function not supported in Windows Mail? I believe it was in Outlook Express.

Reading Windows Mail from Internet Explorer
When I had Windows XP, etc and was online using Internet Explorer, I could
hit the email icon (envelope) and be taken to my email account in Outlook
Express because I made it my default mail handling program.
In Windows Vista Idon't see an email icon and to get to my Windows mail,
Ihave t minimize my Internet Explorer screen and click on the Windows Mail
icon on my Desktop to read my mai...

get vista email back into OE6 ?
My experience with both Vista ultimate & it E-Mail program has been the worst
IT problem I have ever seen. I could fill this whole post with a RANT but I
have a bigger issue.
I need to export Vista email back to outlook express 6(back to XP). That is
it, plain & simple.
I would have thought Microsoft would be so much better than this effort.

Printing list of e-mails
I'm trying to print out a list of all e-mails sent and received in June. I
went to Search, entered the dates and got the list. I just want to print it
out - not the full email, just a listing. The only thing I've been able to
do is PrtSc and paste to Word... but with over 400 e-mails, this is going to
take a long time as I keep having to scroll down.
Anybody know a shortcut?...

Switching Identities
I understand that with Windows Mail, you cannot switch identities. However,
I hate having to log out and switch users to simply have my husband check his
messages. This cannot possibly be the only way... oh Outlook I miss you
already. I also hate (even more) having to have his messages in with mine

Not showing folder contacts
I have contacts in folders in Windows mail. I also have a number of contacts
in what was the "main identity file" in Outlook Express. If I click "To"
when forwarding a message all the contacts from the folders and the main
identity appear. How can I file the folders so their contacts do not appear

Mass email keeping email address not visible
In Outlook, a contact group mailing shown all the contact e mails it is being
sent to. I am trying to send an e mail to 50+ people, but do not want the
recipients will be able to see the names and e‑mail addresses of the other
recipients for privacy reasons. Any way to do that on outlook or by
importing a list with out sending the e mail one person at a time?

Everytime I start Windows Mail, I am prompted for my username and

Cant delete any contacts
Ok, I am using Windows Mail and have found out that I can't delete any of the
contacts after I put them in. Every time I hit the delete key of button in
the contacts it says that there has been a problem and it needs to reboot.
Is this a bug in the code or do I not have something set up correctly or am
I just not going to be allowed to delete contacts anymore???...

auto-complete does not work for email addresses
I have the auto-complete area checked but addresses will not complete as
they did in Outlook Express. I have to click each individual and that is

Windows mail
Hi all
I have a vista operating system & windows email. there is a message in my i
box which I simply can't erase by the normal conventional method. Each time
I try I get a window which says:
MESSAGE COULD NOT BE DISPLAYED WINDOWS EMAIL
EMAIL ENCOUNTERED AN UNEXPECTED PROBLEM
WHILE DISPLAYING THIS MESSAGE.

And then another window pops up that says:
"Unable to create the file 'New Contact.contact'

Spell Check English UK
I have set my new Vista powered system to be English UK as her the Help and
Support but it still insists in spelling in English American in Windows Mail.
I could add words manually but that doesn't seem very easy or clever when
Outlook Express did not have this problem.
Is there a work round that enables me to use my Word 2003 dictionary (that
understands real English?)

I've created mail folders in the past with no trouble. Today, I get the
message that "the folder could not be created."
Is this another of the things like the phantom mail in the outbox? Is there

Windows Mail will not close
When I click on the close button in the Windows Mail window Vista reports
that Windows Mail has stopped working and it is looking for a solution then
the programme starts up again. The minimize and full-screen buttons work OK....

Problem with connecting to a link in Windows Mail message
My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium. I have been using Windows Mail in
conjunction with my server e-mail and, just recently I have not been able to
connect to any link embedded in my e-mail messages.

Deleting and Purging problem--where are my messages going?
I have an IMAP email account. I just upgraded from XP, where when I deleted
a message in Outlook Express a ---- line went through the message, and then I
could purge manually or have it purge automatically on closing. This allowed
me to take a look at everything that was marked for deletion, before choosing
to purge the messages.

MS Outlook not responding
Hi,
I just got a new laptop with Vista Business and loaded MS Outlook 2007.
I launch the program and sign in when I try to click on anything I get a [
Not Responding ]. It will recover after 30 seconds try it again same issue.
I’ve reinstalled
