Synchronisation with XP
A client has an XP Desktop PC, an XP notebook PC and a Vista notebook
PC. He want to synchronize them as follows:
Database on desktop with both notebooks (one already working via XP
Briefcase)
Documents on XP notebook with documents on Vista notebook
Email on XP notebook with email on Vista notebook
Any suggestions?

mail not sent
I have three messages in my outbox that are not sending. I click on
send/recieve and I am recieving but not sending. How do I correct this??...

I've deleted my mail data base- can it be restored from a backup copy?
Well I've done it now......working with an email message which refuses to
delete, I've followed someone's directions and managed to delete all of my
mail message database. I'm lucky enough to have a backup on a Western
Digital external Hard drive. Only problem is, I don't know how to do a
restore of just that database....can anyone help?

My calender and time is always off.The date today still says Monday and the
time is off by 4 hours.How do I fix this as I have tried tomany times.

spellcheck windows vista email
When I try to spell check outgoing email, a message pops up saying the "This
language is no longer available for spell checking. Please select another in
the spelling options dialog box." Since I'm writing in English and its the
only language I speak fluently, I seem to be out of options. I'm also a
terrible speller, so really need the spell check.

Windows Mail Can't Send ANYTHING...
Suddenly yesterday morning my email would no longer send, i can receive just
fine, but i cannot send. I don't get any specific error message most of the
time, usually it just times out and says my server hasn't responded in 60
seconds and asks me to wait or stop. If i keep hitting wait i don't get
anywhere, and if i click stop i get a random error message, its never the

How to show the hidden folder again in Window Mail
PLEASE HELP! By accident I hide the Send folder in my window mail and yet I
wanted to show the folder again however I did not find away in the option to
reshow this folder again! Anyone have this type of experience before? PLEASE
HELP!!!!

In Vista -Windows Mail has downloaded all my Yahoo Mail?
Got a new laptop with Vista .....and Vista wouldn't let me set up YahooMail
as my mail client (??) like I had it set on my old Win2K laptop, so I set up
a Windows Mail account to be able to send email from web pages.
.....but now Windows Mail has downloaded 10 years of messages from Yahoo and
now they are no longer available on the Yahoo Web Mail server.

import mail from outlook
When I intend to import outlook mail which I save in my thmb-drive (pst file)
to Windows Mail: under windows mail import> microsoft outlook> when i click
Next, it
appear a import messges: messages cannot be imported from the MAPI clikent.
An error has occurred.
Kindly help me in this issue.

An unknown error has occurred!
I cannot delete messages from my outbox.
When I want delete two emails from my outbox, Windows Mail tells me:
An unknown error has occurred!
it is only two previously email messages that I tried to send.
Now, I cannot delete these emails,
I tried to Right click it and mark it as read and then try to delete, it
does not work either.

file stuck in outbox
I see this is a problem encountered by others but I cannot find the answer.
The file cannot be deleted, opened or moved and is preventing any emails
being sent. No problem receiving

Vista mail and calendar synchronisation
I like both the new mail and calendar system in Vista.
In my contacts I can add anniversaries and birthdays, but they don't show up
in my calendar. Howdo I get them to show up in my calendar automatically? I
mean Outlook does it, so why not Vista?

Import mail from Outlook
Hi
I just bought a new laptop, and it comes with Windows E-mail. I am able to
set up account, and import address book (with WAB extension). However, I
am not able to import messages which I know are in my thumb-drive. I can
see them on the F drive contents in my old laptop, not in the new import
dialogue box. Can you help? Thanks

Putting an attachment on message - Windows Mail shuts down
WIndows Mail shuts down the moment I have finished typing an email message &
then try to attach any file to it. (ie as soon as I click on Attach - bang
WIndows Mail disappears. Am using AVG (with email scanning turned off & have
all defaults set for WIndows Mail.
Any help would be apprecited...

need MWUTIL help
I am a victim of the "unable to delete emails in my inbox" problem. So in my
naivety I tried mwutil to see what it does. It found problems with the mail
database which it fixed. so far so good, BUT which didn't solve the problem.
Another BUT: now I have files with names like "edb", "edb.chk", "tmp.edb",
"edbtemp", "edbres0000..." popping up on my desktop. PLEASE tell me I

Sending from Default Mail Account - Only ones stuck in Outbox
After having messages from different Mail Accounts stuck in the Outbox
forever they finally all got sent after I clicked on Send/Receive in main
window (after originally clicking on Send in the original Created Mail
Message Window they went to the Outbox & sat there until I went back to
Send/Receive in the Main Window). But an interesting problem has arisen -

Setting up multiple email address w/Windows Mail/vista version
I just go a new computer w/Vista and Windows mail is installed. Under my old
computer which had Outlook, I was able to set up multiple identities. How do
I do that under the Windows mail. My husband and I have different email
addresses under the same computer and want that ability again with this. How
