Windows Mail fails to download news messages
Newsgroups in Win Mail fail to automatically download messages. All the
headers are there, marked as unread. When I highlight them to read, get the
message "message not downloaded. click here or space. Message then
downloads. Alternatively I can synchronize all or group. Messages then
download.
Synch settings are download all, d/l messages every 5m, LAN settings are

How do you set up Windows Mail account?
I've tried about 20 times to set up an account, but i don't understand how
to do it. what information do i need? is there anyone who can telll me
EXACTLY what i need and need to do to make this work?
it's stuck at the part where you type in the POP3 server, whatever that is,
and the STMP thing.only it clicked on the HTTM thing and now it won't go
away.

Slow Windows Mail
My windows mail works very slowly. I know this was a reported problem but I
thought MS had issued a fix. Am I wrong? It is still very slow to bring up
boxes and fill them in with the graphics/type. Also slow to display email.
It works more quickly if I first click on calendar to view my calendar, but
since I don't use that calendar, it is a nuisance to have to do that.

email list display like MSOE
I used Microsoft Outlook Express before Vista and had my email addresses
listed in a pane on the left below my folder view. I cannot find how to make
this occur in Microsoft mail.
Any one have the trick for this one? I canot find the setting anywhere.

Error Message on Outgoing Mail
It seems that many people are having the same issue, or so it sounds like it,

Need help sending Video as attachments
I am trying to send vacation video to family and keep getting an error
message that reads, "The message could not be sent. There is not enough
memory." I have tried zipping the videos and that was no help. I can
receive clips sent by family, but I can't send them. I look forward to your
suggestions.

attachments open but are in source language
I am getting emails and when I open an attachment that has a txt extension
all I get is the source language. I can't read it and the pictures don't
show up.

Printing problems
Since no one responded to my last question, I guess no one knows the answer.

automatic insertion of email addresses
I got used to Windows XP and Outlook Express, when writing any name from
my email adresses, it was automatically completed. Always!!
With Vista Windows mail I still don´t understand it. I have to look for
the email adress from my list, then as I write more adresses the old ones
drop off. I have to look them back again from my list. It gives me a lot of
work.

Message Store
Is it possible to set the Message Store to use a Network drive? I've tried

Can't delete messages from Deleted box in Outlook Express
I see that many other people are having the same problem but I do not see a
solution or patch suggested by Microsoft for this product defect. When I try
to delete I get an unknown error message. I cannot lose my other mail folders
so any solution must be specific to my deleted folder....

Windows mail wont open now
yesterday I had a stuck e-mail in my out box.
I ran the utility on this web site http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/.
And it said it cleared my out box. But now windoes mail wont open at all.
It just sits on the openeing "Windows mail" page. i let it run forever and
it doesnt open. Someone please help, what did I screw up.
