unable to compose or respond to email on companies mail server since I switched to Vista
I recently bought new computer with Windows Vista. I am now unable to
respond to email or compose email on my company's mail server.(Outlook
Web Access) When I click "reply", a reply letter opens but I am unable
to type in the area below the header. Is there a security setting I
need to change?

How to I Import messages from Outlook
Can anyone help?? I am trying to import messages from outlook but as soon as

Not receiving mail from second user
I have two accounts in WM for my wife and I. Normally, it will check both
accounts and download any mail from the ISP server and put them in our
respective inboxes. This has been working just fine up until today. Now, it
will download my mail, but not the mail for my wife. I can send from both
accounts with no problem. Sending test mail to my wife's account, it shows
up on the ISP server...

Pictures in body of message with Wndows Mail Vista Ultimate
I've read a lot about pictures NOT showing in body of the message (red X
etc), My sent messages with picture attachments DO show the pics LARGE in the
body of the message. I don't want them to, I just want the jpg. reference to

Sending Attachments (.doc or .wps)
Hello,
I have searched all the topics and have yet to find one that addresses my
particular situation. Here it is...
I am working with Windows Mail and have tried to send both .doc and .wps

Junk filter won't update
The May and July 2007 updates for the Windows Mail junk e-mail filter have
repeatedly failed to install on my machine. Windows Vista Home Premium. The
error code is 800B0100 but I cannot find this on the support site.
Tried switching off updates and downloading/installing manually. That failed
too.
Can anyone help. Thanks

Easy fix for Spell Check
If you receive the message "This language is no longer available",
1.)Go the tabs in the Inbox - Windows Mail (not the tabs on the page with
the email you are checking).
2.) Click on the Tools tab, then select options.
3.) On the Options page select the spelling tab.

What antiviral software can I use?
So I wrote yesterday because I was having all sorts of problems with my
windows mail. I read somewhere that if I uninstalled Norton it might work.
So I did and now I can receive emails and all my email that had disappeared
have come back. I still can't send them though. But that aside (even though
it's doing my head in) what antivirus can I use that won't cause the problem

Email stuck in Outbox
I realise that I typed the wrong address when sending an email. The email is
now 'stuck' in my Outbox but I cannot see it to delete the message. Instead,
every time I send a new meesage, it also tries to send the original message
(ie the one with the wrong address). The following message keeps appearing.

Can't Send Mail Either
Ok... have new Laptop with Vista and Windows mail.
Have set up E-mail account, no probs.
In the bottom left hand corner, mail says... Working Online.
I create mail and click send....
The mail appears in Outbox, in bold type and nothing.....
If I click on send/recieve, nothing happens, then after a delay, the e-mail
changes from bold to standard text.

Password protect
Hi, I've just installed Windows Live Mail version 12.0.1184 and I really want
to password protect the program in the same way you could do with outlook.
I know that this wasn't 100% secure and in Vista I can password protect my
user account, that this is more secure and I have actually done this. I just

We have it too: E-mail is stuck in outbox. Probably a corrupted email, but
now I cannot send it nor delete it. All new to be send messages keep in

Micro soft wil not help me
What the f.... We all have that problem with windows mail. a mestake from
micro soft. So i wrote them. They say the garanty is not our problem but a
problem from the salesman who sold you the lap top. Well thats an easy way of
solving the problems. I will try to do it the steve way. Tryed to delete the
folders and copying them back and that didnt work.
