activation
I reformatted my computer and reinstalled windows using the activation key on
the bottom of my dell notebook. It didnt work. So i called and had the
assistant change my activation key for me and it still didnt work. It would
have been easier to just get a pirated version or just buy a mac. i would
have at least had less problems....

VGN-AR21S - Mass Storage Controller Driver for Vista Premium
I used the Sony disc from the express upgrade program to install Vista
premium, but did not use the recovery disc to re-install all apps because my
laptop was suffering a bsod on its compeletion. So I decided to run disk 1/3,

Uninstalling Ultima Online
I downloaded Ultima Online on the Official Website. Then I decided to
uninstall it. However, after I uninstalled it from Controls Panel, I can't
delete the shortcut from the Desktop as they ask me to verify the location of
the file.

Foreign language packs in Windows Vista...
Hello,
Is there a way to download all the available foreign language packs from
Vista's Windows Update for future usage? It takes too long to download
each foreign language (about a GB!) and I would like to keep these files
offline on a DVD, external USB HDD, etc. to skip the long download times
and just install. I also do not want to keep the files in my C:

Dual Operating System
I have a toshiba laptop with vista home premium preinstalled on it. I would
like to install windows 2003 or Xp as another os. I have already created
second partition. I tried installing win2003 with bootable cd but after it

Vista Home Premium 32 bit OEM Anytime Upgrade to 64 bit
Ok,
I've been researching this and have found alot of convoluted answers but
none that really answers the question.
I have an OEM Vista Home Premium DVD. The disk says it includes anytime
upgrade but it also says it only contains 32 bit software. If I want to

DVDs
I was trying to learn about the best way to play DVDs and encountered a
problem -I was "practicing" with "Gladiator" figuring this would have the
best video and audio output. I can play the DVD with no problems on Windows
Media Player but when I try to play it on Windows Media Center I get the
video but no audio. I checked the speakers and volume controls but nothing
will play the sound....

Vista Activation Rigidness A Problem
OK - get this for how stringent the activation key is.
Without changing ANY actual hardware and by only upgrading the software
drivers for my Nvidia video card, Integrated Intel Sound Card and ATI Tuner
card - Vista Ultimate then declared I had changed the hardware enough and I

Installed Vista and Office - cant access partition on E
Can anyone help Please.... have installed vista on home machine where I
had partitioned the drive. Now it seems to recognise the E partition
insofar as it sees it and says the partition is 160gb NTFS but zero bytes.
I had all my work files and family photos and music albums on that
partition.

How to overcome the impossible

Dell Recovery
I have a Dell system with the usual tale of an OEM install with no MS discs
but a recovery partition and a boot disc.
Is there any way I can get the system set up how I want it and then "save"
the setup image so that it is that that is installed if I ever need to run

Activating Windows Vista
I'm on Home Premium 64bit and installed on this computer. Then upgraded the
CPU, RAM and replaced the motherboard. On the first install I activated
