VGN-AR21S - Mass Storage Controller Driver for Vista Premium
I used the Sony disc from the express upgrade program to install Vista premium, but did not use the recovery disc to re-install all apps because my laptop was suffering a bsod on its compeletion. So I decided to run disk 1/3, 2/3 and then install 1 driver at a time to determine what is causing the BSOD (so far audio driver is causing a problem, so I am using the 1 on the Vista install). ...

Hello, Is there a way to download all the available foreign language packs from Vista's Windows Update for future usage? How do you install a network printer, but then redirect it to use a Vista driver instead of pulling it from the XP system? How do you rename a user account on a Vista Home system. When I rename it...

Help needed understanding how to image Vista
Hello Everyone, We used to purchased HP computers with and image them using ghost. It was real easy as the image contained all the required settings and applications. Just make a sysprep.ini with the admin password, timezone, regional settings, computername and description and a couple of commands that set the IP and auto logon. Run SysPrep.EXE, select Mini Setup, shutdown and image wit...

OK - get this for how stringent the activation key is. MVP, please re: Vista Activation, SysPrep in testing environment
This was originally posted 5/26, and got no response. We work with a lot of virtual machines in a product testing environment -- up to now, only Win2K and XP. We have always Sysprep'ed our configurations, and used a Sysprep.inf setting to supply our MSDN Volume License key. If we need to make a new version of a config (e.g. to generate a new image with the lastest patches), we boot from a...

I don't want to change the OS or the PC just don't want the hassle of deleting a dozen programmes I don't wa...
