Used product key
My computer had compatibility issues with Vista. The Motherboard and sound
card were not compliant. So I changed the mother board and I got a larger
hard drive and of course the Ram and and just got a Direct X 10 compliant
graphics card. now I plug in the activation code and it says The product key

Installing Vista Upgrade needing SATA RAID drivers

Problems running Microsoft Office (Visual Basic origin?)
--About 6 weeks ago I purchased a new DELL computer running on VISTA premium.

The solution was:i stopped it in a friends pc(same model/motherboard)
and I discovered it was a stupid pci hardware that vista had seen as a
HD! xD im soooooo happy now!;)

vista won't install or boot with more then 3gb ram
Why won't vista install or boot with more then 3gb ram?
my brother in law has 4 gb ram. It starts with a G I think. Intel E6600 dual
core. asus p5n32-sli-e motherboard.

!!!Can't restore from the backup disks RC1 to VHB
I was on RC1 and on Beta before that. Several days before the RC1 timeout I
did make the required set of backup disks, to save all my programs, images
and other records. The disks do have the data on them.
Last night I did the VHB (upgrade) clean install.
PROBLEM: I cannot run the backup disks.
"Windows was not able to find any backup sets on F:\."

Vista/Office Sleep problem -- repost -- Anybody?
I have a problem with all Office 2007 programs not working when I come back
from Vista sleep mode. For example with Outlook 2007, upon clicking on the
Send/Receive button I get no response. If I take the option "Let Outlook
rescue the information", the window goes into light grey mode and sits there
for 3-4 minutes. If I try and cancel the program instead it hangs.

Turning off ZIP folders??
Much like in XP, Vista will display zip files as folders. How can I prevent
Vista from displaying zip files as folders?
It really gets in the way when you have a folder with lots of zip files.
This was easy to disable in XP, but seems pretty much hidden in Vista. My
guess is it requires a trip into the registry, but I can't find a relative
key that seems to control this somewhat annoyin...

Vista installation fails
bI had to reinstall Vista Ultimate 32Bit on my Asus P5wd2 Premium MB.
Although the installation went fine the first time, after reinstalling I
cannot read anything on the screen. Everything on the sceen is scramled up. I
CAN run Windows XP on the computer, NO problem but I cannot install Vista and
have a readable display.
Any suggetsions? Thanks very much!

Converting Two Hard Disks to Dual Boot
My Dell XPS-400 running Windows Media Center went bad, so I've a new 410 with
Vista and the hard drive from the old PC installed as drive F. Some of my
old programs and the TV tuner won't run under Vista, so I'd like to change to
a dual boot system. Is it true I have to partition my C: drive and reinstall
Vista as a dual boot system or am I misunderstanding?

Vista/0x07B error on install
If I install vista(boot) then it will load all files,after that the
keyboard and mouse freezes.
If I Install vista if logged on XP it will install reboot and i get a
BSOD 0x0000007B error.

Loud beep even when mute is on.
On 32-bit Vista ultimate, I have an audio problem--and I'm not sure if it's
