Can't Reinstall Activesync after PCMove Use
I recently bought a Dell C521 computer running Vista. Along with that I also
received from Dell a program called PCMove which allowed me to transfer all
of my system settings and application software from my XP based laptop to
the new Vista based machine. The process went quite smoothly for the most
part..

Sleep mode
I have been having problems with computer not going to sleep, tried many
things but in end gave up. Yesterday there was a very large number of
downloads and now computer goes to sleep with no problems. Anyone know if
they have now rectifieed problem.
Must also check to see if "calender" now functions OK...

Changing Boot Partition
Hey all...
I originally installed my Vista install on a secondary (logical) partition
as a dual boot with XP (in case i wanted or needed to go back).
I have now been satisfied enough with Vista to want to get rid of XP. Only
problem is that Vista's bootmanager is (i think) on the XP partition.
How can i move the bootmanager on to the same partition as Vista, so that i
can then delete ...

Adobe Photoshop CS3 Instillation problems
I have downloaded the demo for this program, and opened the folder,double
clicked the setup file. A setup logo flashed on for a second and then closed.

Enlarged text, windows messd up
Hello everyone,
I increased the text size using the "change the size of text and icons"
option in Vista's "Ease of Access Center". I set a "custom DPI scaling" of
192. This text size is perfect for us, however here's the problem.
Certain kinds of windows are now so big they go off the screen. They won't
let me resize them! I cannot reach the "OK" button to click it.

upgrade business to ulimate?
My situation is that i currently have Vista Business that was provided to me
for free through school by the MSDNAA. I would prefer to have Ultimate, and
recently got a new processor, alot more 4gb of ram etc, and Vista Business

Download Stalling
Installed Vista home premium and compatible norton antivirus product -
nothing else at this point. No issues until tried to download norton updates
via live update - starts downloading fine and then stalls some way through.
Can just select one small download and works fine but anything above about

Dual Boot Vista Ultimate 64-BIT & 32-BIT
I bought a lap-top with Vista Ult 64-BIT pre-installed only to find
Australia's major ISP Telstra does not support 64-BIT for internet access.
The lap-top vendor has supplied a separate copy of Vista Ultimate 32-BIT for
me to install. The lap-top has 2 separate drives. Can I run the two platforms

Im trying to install an Instant Immersion language program on my computer.

Reformatting
I have gotten some viruses on my computer and I have done rescans on
everything but I think it went too deep to recover from. Some issues I was

Help...New Volumes
I created 2 New Volumes...at different times to create partitions for dual
boot with Windows XP and Vista. One (F:) is 67.51 GB and the other is
3.39GB. What do I do? I'm sure I need to delete one but which one the

I have local admin rights to the PC but the one application we run at work
needs to be run as a special user. In the past I would run the application
