hello i bought a patriot 2.0 2gb flash drive to use just for readyboost, i
formated it with both fat32 and ntfs but it tells me that "this device dose
not have the required performance charateristics for use in speeding up your

CDs not loading-no error message
Hi,
I have recently bought a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Si 1520 and it already had
Vista installed on it and was set up to go and all. I have been using the cd
driver regularlly and have not had an ounce of trouble with it. Today it
stopped working..... I have used a lens cleaned, the device manager says its

Windows Mobile Device Center not finding AT&T 8525
I just got a new Vista machine and a new AT&T 8525. I downloaded and
installed Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1, but it won't find the 8525. The
phone is connected via USB, and it's getting power. I've read the official

Intellitype & Dell laptop keyboard problem

SATA Drive unrecognized in Vista Ultimate
I'm still looking for a solution for my problem.
I have installed a 'secondary' SATA HDD and though you can see it in the
"Disk Management" window (Computer Management Console), there isn't a drive

USB Flash Drive not installing completely.
Hello,
I have 2 USB Flash drives that both are ReadyBoost ready. When I plug
either of them in, it prompts to find a driver but does not find one. It
installs correctly and I can read and write to the drive, but it shows "USB
DISK" in the USB device manager tab and also "Flash Drive SM_USB20 USB

play DVD and system blue screens
HELP!! everything works in any media player i've downloaded and tried
EXCEPT DVD movies. i can play dvd rom games, play cd's, watch the

Ultra 4 port USB Hub driver issue
I have an Ultra 4 port USB Hub. Vista seems to find a device driver to
install but says it "encountered a problem". Thats as much as I'm told.

Missing DVD-RW drive
I have a relatively new Acer Aspire notebook running Vista Home Pro. I have
found that I can't view my DVD-RW drive in My Computer, nor can I play DVDs

Vista's Hardware Compatibility with my dial up modem.
I have a dial up modem and I can't find any drivers for the 64 bit version of
Windows Vista or XP that work with it. Is it possible to have a 64 bit system

Cannot install Bluetooth keyboard and mouse
My Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Elite for Bluetooth has stopped working for
no apparent reason. It still works with WinXp which is on the same computer.

CD/DVD Drives Won't Work
I recently upgraded from XPH to Vista Business. Seems my CDROM.SYS or related
file got corrupted because shortly after upgrading ALL my CD & DVD drives
stopped working, giving driver errors. Problem is I can't repair Windows
since there's no DVD drive and when I update drivers or re-install the
hardware I'm told I have the latest drivers.

Installing / Registering Canon Multipass F80 Vista Driver
I have saved the driver update for vista "F80_Vista32.exe" to
my desktop. After accepting the licencing agreement, the installation
runs. Before it finishes the following error pops up: "An error
occurred while files were being copied". How do I get past this to finish the
