Nothing seems to work.
I have tried installing battlefield 2142, counterstike source, age of empires
3, even oregon trail 2, and nothing seems to work. I know my hardware is
fine, it all is boiling down to vista since chances of 4 other companies
screwing up when it all works on XP seems strange. Now I am not trying to
just be a complainer, I want to know if there was anything in Vista I was

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
Compatibility problems with Vista premium home 64 bit and Star Wars KOTOR. I

Battlefield 2142 failed to run, what else?
Hi,
This is like the 5th forum I have been to for help. I bought a brand new
computer today with windows 32bit installed and I bought a copy of
battlefield 2142 to try the computer out. The computer I bought is a brand
new computer designed for gaming, that is in no matter the question, and yes
I have experience with gaming and didn't take their word for it when it came

BF2 Point of Existence Mod
I am running Vista 32 bit and trying to download the Point of Existence mod
for Battlefield

Dungeon Siege II Messes Up Desktop
I am currently running Dungeon Siege II under Windows Home Premium. After
exiting the game my Windows desktop graphics is messed up (Windows sidebar
is changes position, some icons seem to be in a shaded area of the screen,
etc.). Is there a better way to run this other than through Windows?

Graphics Driver has stopped responding
I have been running Vista for several months now and so far all has been
good, Upto now!!.
For some reason all of a sudden my games keep freezing up, If i quickly ctrl
alt del then cancel the window asking if i want to start task manager the

At the end of game when there are no more moves nothing happens.
When I go to start a new game a window appears giving me options to quit game.
Is this right? I don't remember previous versions of windows operating

MS Forcing Vista on people
While many people can choose to buy Vista or not, the idea of making
Games only work with Vista is almost criminal. A game such as Halo 2

Vista widow sizes
Ok here is my question and frustration as I am one step from removing Vista.
I do online gaming speciffically Everquest. When I come out of the game to
look at something the widow is extremely small. It use to be like minimized
until i ran aero one time to see what it looked like. I have a 22"

Gothic 3
When i play, try to play Gothic 3, the game starts up fine, and after about
5 min the game will load the level, but im faced with horrid frame rates,
4-9FPS. I've downloaded an INI program and looked though thier fourms,

Trouble with games on windows vista ultimate
Ok ive ben running vista ultimate for a few moths now. I istaled Hardtruck
apocalypse and cant save my game and it also sometimes crashes. Also having

Everquest
Anyone else having problem when you log in have to hit CTRL+ALT+DEl to get
manager then click bck into game to let enter ro if in game have to do that
to move etc? Any fix?
Also once on toon log to toon slection and it crashes. Hav eto log
completely out of game and back in to change toons. Vista is really startign

Intelligence Built into Microsoft Solitaire
I played a few games on a third party Solitaire game and won about 7-percent
of the time. The Solitaire game shipped with Vista appears to increase it's
difficulty the more I beat it. Consequently, I have to ask, is there any

Minesweeper doesn't respond
Hi,
I see reading the posts just now that many have had the same problem I have
had for two months or so.
I play minesweeper and about 70% of time it locks up, and just when I'm on
the home straight, sometimes with a world record in my sights!
What was or is the solution to make it run normally reliably?

DOS Fullscreen issue NTVDM with Vista... Please fix this......
Hello,
I think Windows Vista 32-bit OS has an issue because it won't run DOS
fullscreen apps although the option to do so is in the properties.When I call
a DOS app that tries to run in full screen, I receive an error telling me
that It doesn't support fullscreen.That's ridiculous since the NTVDM used in

I have just upgraded to Vista Ultimate, no when I have finished playing a map

Legacy game won't run - Heroes of Might & Magic IV
I recently picked up an older game, Heroes of Might and Magic IV. I
used to love HOMM2 years ago, and picked this one up on an impulse at
Best Buy since it was only $10.

i have installed vista home premium and whenever i run bf2142 i get the

now my dvd-ram drive is working fine as is the actual dvd and i have set
program to run as admin.

video card memory
i just upgraded my system from xp pro to vista ultamite. when the
installation finished i wanted to play GTA vice city, but somthin popped up
sayin "GTA VC cannot find enough avalible video memory space." when i had xp

How do I register older games in the Games Explorer
Just wondering if there is a way to register older games in Games Explorer.
I've installed them and dragged the icon to the explorer, so at least they
appear in the list but they show up as genre "unspecified".
I've heard that there are game descriptor files but I can't find anything
that sound like it. Can someone point me to some documentation?

Chess Titans has lost the 3D aspect
I have a high end computer with two 8800 GTS Nvidia cards. When I first ran
Chess Titans it ran OK in 3D but since attempting to install Windows Mobile
device Center the 3D has gone and wont come back. tried reinstalling game and
