TS License transferrable?
Can the license (either user or device) be transferred to another user or
device? Or once it's been assigned, it's forever linked to that device or
user? If so, even if the device or, god forbid, the user dies? You just
have to constantly buy more CAL licenses? Or is there a way for a license
to be recycled?

Screen Resolution - SBS2003

Win 2000 Server (TS App Mode) 256 colors only?
I have a client using a Win 2000 Terminal Server, the server display is
set for 16 bit color, but the users, via RD, even though they are set for
16 bit color, only see 256 color no matter what I do.

Ahh - that's better, more memory
We've have two load balanced Dell 3GHz servers with 2.5GB and 3GB of memory
respectively and 40 concurrent users. For the past two weeks, they have been
a bit sluggish. We happened to look at memory usage and both of them were up
to using all physical memory and were therefore using page memory a lot
more.

Remote control and printers
I have four terminal server win 2003: one sp1 and three sp2. All server
esperienced the following problem:
When helpdesk members take remote control of users sessions and then
disconnect with ctrl + * (or other key sequence), the helpdesk users loss
their printers session. The system event viewer show Print warning Id 3,4,8
as when a user normally disconnect their session.

Vista Remote Desktop Client
Ok, I know this will probably have been asked.
Windows Vista when doing a Remote Desktop Connection to numerous 2003
Servers (both in remote Desktop and in Application Mode) Connects and starts
to load the screen (Winlogon screen) partially but hangs.
Doesn't do it on the XP workstations. Different sites, differents ISPs.
Is it a hotfix for Vista, firewall tweak, something silly?

Internet Explorer
Hi,
I have a window 2003 terminal server. The users logon to the server and
open IE to launch a financial application "EFI". The application would work
after some security settings are adjusted in IE for each user. However, I
have about 50 users. How can I adjust the IE settings for all of the users
in an efficient way?

Firewall required?
We'd like to outsource our 2003 terminal server by letting a well-known
company provide the hardware, and it's support & maintenance, at their data
center.
The problem is that they want an extra $2,400-$4,500 per year to provide a
firewall for the server.
Does it make sense to have no firewall in this scenario?

Getting a multifunction printer to work on Win2003 TS
Hi,
We have a new sales rep coming on board, and he'll be connecting to our
Win2003 Ent SP1 Terminal Server over broadband. I'm in the process of
speccing out multifunction printer/scanner/copier/fax for him, and I've read
that many of these devices use specific host-only drivers that can't be seen

Terminal Services Licensing 2003 in an ASP/Outsourcing environment
We are an ASP/Outsourcing provider. We have a domain where our TS
licensing server i installed. And we have a couple of TS 2003 servers.
Not all of our customers is using the TS servers but one customer has
bought a 5 pack TS cals.

Remote access rookie
Hi.
I have a problem at my workplace with regard to grant remote access for two
of the users. The scenario is that they need access to documents in a public
directory, without needing them to be mailed or ftp'ed to themselves. A VPN
or Remote Desktop connection would be ideal, but the data is confidential.
