dummy licenses
Hi Everyone,
I have a technet subscription and I am trying to teach myself about terminal
services and Citrix. Is there any way to dummy the licenses so I don't get
the error that in 105 days Terminal Services will expire?
Thanks,

Removing Software Restriction on remote executable
Howdy
In the process of replacing a 2003 terminal server (hardware
replacement). The existing server has a program
that runs via a remote executable (on a mapped share) - works fine.
The new server will run launch the app if logged-in with Admin
rights, but normal users cannot launch the app.
I'm guessing it's a software restriciton blocking remote executables -
but that's a guess. Is ...

TS CPU Question
We are going to be getting some new Terminal servers
They will be running with 2 dual core xeon CPU's
Which would be a better CPU for a terminal server
Xeon 5140, with 4MB cache, 2.33GHZ, 1333MHz FSB
Or
Xexon 5050 2 x 2MB cache, 3.00GHz 667Mhz FSB?
Basically what I am asking, what is more impartant, CPU speed, or cache and
FSB?

Terminal Services, Task Bar and The Language Bar Problem
I have 3 servers running Windows Server 2003 Standard with Terminal Services.
On all of these servers, the Task Bar and I think especially the Language Bar
is acting up.
The Task Bar and The Language Bar is multiplying/duplicating it self.
This started happening after I installed Internet Explorer 7.0, but I am not
sure if this is the source to this problem. I have read other posters on ...

MS TS "Hosting" issues for non-employees
We already run an ASP environment. We have a new Windows-based

someone confirm?

Idle sessions getting disconnected in 5 - 30 minutes
Hello,
I have ~10 people using a terminal server. Starting in the past few
weeks people have been getting logged out (brought back to login
screen) many times a day. We have added some employees in the past few
weeks so there are more TS users now.
We've checked all the idle session limits, etc. Any other settings I
should check? The server is part of an Active Directory.
Thanks,

other (for example, a frame with a table within it, with a table
