TS logon query
Hi,
We have two Win2k3 Terminal servers with load balancing configured. We
believe that some users are logging on directly to the servers, rather than
the farm name. Our TS1 server often has between five and ten more connections
than TS2. Is there any way I can find out which (if any) users are not
logging onto the farm as instructed?...

Newbie ask: Terminal Services on Peer-to-Peer Server? What software do we need?
Need to make our Access dB available to our field sales people.
Don't want to rewrite all our Access Front End in ASP.
We have a small 'peer to peer' network in which one peer computer is
used as a 'network drive'
We save all our files there and have the Access dB Back End on it.
Works fine internally for our small system.
1 - What software must we buy to run Microsoft Terminal Ser...

Domain Controller Shift
Hi Guys
We are shifting our terminal server to a new domain. Our terminal server is
also our TS licence server. When we join the new domain will we be required
to update our licences via MS Clearing House?
Is there a clever way to migrate all our user profiles without having to
recreate them again?
Any advice/pointers will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Mike

Terminal Services License server question
I have a W2K term server on an NT domain. The term server is currently
configured as the license server.
I need to move the term server to a Windows 2003 domain. (Keeping the server
installed on the W2K OS)
Can I move the license server onto a 2003 domain controller without
upgrading? If so, how would this be done?
Thanks,
Jeff...

new server) always choose a single domain instead of needing to manually

I am using Microsoft Terminal Services in which the users connect to

help out: a remote user has been running a custom application on the

application would become very slow. He would eventually be able to
shut the application down and log off the server, but, whe...

Increase Registry Size
We have a TS2000 and users are continually being asked to have the registry
size increased. The Reg and Page files are already above normal. This
seems to happen when connections are over 10 or 12.
We have seen mutlel Profile names for each user name.000, name.002.
Permissions do no seem to be the issue. Nor is "Important URLs & Favorites

TS Licensing question
We're putting in a Server 2003 machine for use as a Terminal Server for
three remote users. (No local users beyond "Administrator.")
Do the 5 CAL's that come with the product suffice for TS CAL's, or do we
need to separately purchase TS CAL's for the three users?
Thank you.

Hi,
I have a few access apps on my TS and some of them get an high cpu
when they generate a report. Sometimes the cpu goes to 100% for a

Is their an option to restrict Ms access to get an high cpu rate or
limit them to max 10-15 %.
I'm rebuilding everything but need a solution for this problem now.
Thx.

Terminal Service Licensing 2000 to 2003
All,
Back in Nov 2006, we upgraded our two servers, one was SBS 2000 and the
other was W2k, to SBS2003 and W2k3.
In the first environment we had all our users (35) connecting to our W2k
Terminal server. The TS License Server was on the SBS2000 box.
My question(s):
1. Currently we have all our users connecting to the new W2K3 server via
Terminal Services. I believe we have past...
