Talbar ActiveX (taltech) on Windows Terminal Server 2003
Dear All
Since 7 years, we're using the Talbar ActiveX in Access (Office 97 -
Office 03) - the ActiveX was bought in 2000 from taltech
(www.taltech.com). We never had any Problems with this tool. Our
Software (Partnership) has some Reports, where a Barcode is required -
Code 39.
As for a customer, contingency plans are required, we decided, to use
Partnership on a Terminal Server, where...

Local logon for terminal server without specifying machine name?
Hello all,
I'll keep this short without explaining why I need this but simply say I
need to do the following.
I want to set up a local account on a terminal server machine and allow this
account to access the computer through terminal services.
I don't want to use the domain pull down list to select the machine. I
prefer to logon to the local account by typing 'Machine_Name\UserId'...

Hello Group,
Does anyone know the newest version of Adobe reader which is possible to
install on above mentioned TS?
I've tried to install Reader version 7.0.9 but it just said that it's
inkompatible with the Windows version.
I've also tried to google a bit, but ther are no obvious answers.

My Documents redirect only applying to Administrators on TS
I've got Policy set for my Terminal Servers that redirects users My

It works fine as long as your an Administrator on the Terminal Server

different levels of permission. I hope not to give anyone special
permissions in order to accomplish this. I believe I have something set

License server on same machine as Terminal Services: possible?
Hello,
I've got some 2003 Terminal Services machines. The IT deparment is saying
it's not possible to install Terminal Services Licensing Server on the same
machine where Terminal Services exists i.e. keep the two on seperate
machines. It's desirable to have them on the same machine at a site we
have. I read in a MS help file that it is possible to install them both on
the same mac...

Strange logon issue
I have a 2k3 TS setup, locked down with GPO, using the MS whitepaper, working
quite well except for one thing; When I reboot the server through a TS
session or logged in locally, I cannot log back in to a TS session until I
log in locally.
The TS Service is set to manual, Licensing is correct, and the server
doesn't complain about finding that.
I'm at a loss here, and short of settin...

I thought I found a way to do this years ago but can't find it anywhere. I'd
like to give a link to administrators to get connected to a server's console
session through the tsweb client. Currently I have :

Anyone have the option to give in an http address to connect to the console

Greetings:
I may be way out in left field here, but recent events have drawn me toward
several questions that I cannot seem to find answers to. This might turn out
to be kind of a long story, but it only makes sense for me to start at the
beginning.
When I first setup our Terminal Servers, I put them in an OU and assigned a

General Question re Terminal Services
I feel I'm missing something in a big way regarding terminal service.
I have set the role on my test server & am ready to get a thin client device
logged in over remote desktop.
I'm wanting each RD user to have their own data folder, & be tied down as to
a) what they can see on the server & b) what they can do on the server.
Where is this set up ? I understand this may be a very obvi...

Is there a way to import their workstation profiles into their new terminal
