RDC just flips back to local desktop after login try
Hi
After logging in to my Windows 2k3 !Release 2! server sometimes (about 50%
of the time) the client starts logging in but then just closes without an
error and I'm back at my local desktop.
There seem to be a lot of ppl with this error but haven't found a solution
yet.
Since it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't it's obvious the user has the
rights to logon to the computer. The a...

Changing multiple printers
We have two windows server 2003 std terminal servers that all of our 100
users connect to and do their work on. We have approx 25 printers.
Currently our shared printers are named in a variety of arbitrary ways so
adding the right printer is a nightmare.
I'm switching to a standard naming convention (office/floor/model or similar).
I intend to create a duplicate, properly named print...

Password will not save for Win2k RDP sessions
It seems as though after recent windows 2000 updates, or possibly
WinXP RDP
updates, users aren't able to save their passwords on RDP icons that
connect
to win2k sessions. I check the box to save the password during the
username/password prompt, but it asks for it each time. Also when you
check
the properties of the icon it says that there is no username and
password
saved.
Any Ideas?

RunTime Error 480: Can't create autoredraw image in TS Sessions
Hello all,
When using our application (ERP software) in a TS Session, we get an error
480 "Can't create autoredraw image"pretty quickly when trying to display
reports - about after 7 reports are displayed. The problem is proportional to
the TS Session's resolution and color depth. On a XP workstation, we can
display in excess of 25 reports before we hit the error. One of our customers ...
