no keyboard function in Remote Desktop client
Hello,
we have two Terminalserver 2003 std, after a software-update, one of them it
is not possible to logon with Remotedesktop client, because in the open
client, the keyboard doesnt type, the mouse have full function, but keyboard
have no function, enter, esc. also doesnt type. The fault we have from all
the PC-CLients equal which version of the Remote Desktop client.

Where are my Terminal Servers getting their licenses?
We have six 2003 SP1 terminal servers running the exact same config
(installed from same image). When I run the TS licensing app on any
of the servers it comes up looking for license server "dolphin" which
is a server that has been shutdown and retired for about 5 months. In
the TS configuration app it has server dolphin configured as the only
license server.

RPC Server Unavailable
Hi,
Only recently users when logging onto the Terminal Server have started to
encountered this problem, RPC server unavailable, it doen's happen to all
users and not all the time but it can take several attempts before they can
sucessfully logon.
The DC is running Windows 2003 Std SP2 and the Terminal Server is running
Windows 2003 Std SP1

Vista, 2003 Terminal and printing
Hey there,
we're having issues with Windows Vista and printing from terminal
server. This works fine when using WindowsXP.
We have the issue with multiple printers. For example the Brother
HL-2030. The Brother HL-2030 works fine with 2000/XP/2003 over terminal,
but not with Vista, in the system logs there are also entries that a
driver for Brother HL-2030 could not be found.

I recently replaced the server we use for terminal services. I have
installed all of the programs that were on the old server on the new one. My
problem is that any program that is actually on a network drive will not

FolderShare on Terminal Services?
Can FolderShare work on Win2003 Terminal Services?
I have remote salespeople who need access to documents (but I don't want to
share entire remote drives) for printing.
FolderShare seems like a good solution (share remote files with the
connecting laptop), but will it function under TS?

Shared User Folders and printer setup

Hello NG,
Can you let me know if it is possible to restrict application access via TS
please? We have some external users that will be using the TS Web client.
Idealy we want them to only have access to 3-4 apps/shortcuts on the
desktop, and no access to anything else, but need them to be able to save to

Cant access admin features on our Terminal server.
When I am logged into my Win2003 Terminal server I cannot access some admin

Modify the amount of time that a user/PC holds onto a TS license?
From what I can see, when a device or a user grabs a license from the
Terminal server, there is a random time set on that license as to when it
expires and is released back into the pool.
Assuming that this is so..Can I shorten the time that is assigned to the

RDP slow to connect to 2003 Term Server.
I just built a new W2K3 Term server and I'm noticing much longer RDP
connection times than on my W2K term server.
Does anyone have any idea what may cause this?
The two servers are similar models. The W2K machine has 4GB RAM, the new
server has 3.5GB RAM.

Plug and Play Redirection issue
Hello,
I set up a Windows Longhorn Server 2008 with Terminal Services for
testing the Plug and Play redirection. I have tested it with Windows
Mobile Devices, Microsoft Webcam, Logitech Webcam but it won't detect
