Temporary Internet Files - IE6
TServices on a 2003 Enterprise machine, all profiles are local and all
accounts are AD users. Have seen the sizes of the Temp directories on the
profiles growing because of the Temp Internet files. Made a change to the
setting on IE to delete these files upon the closing of the program. This
process does not appear to be working. What is the most effective method to
eliminate these files...

using workgroup instead of domain
I want to create a simple peer-to-peer network using Terminal Server in a
workgroup rather than a domain. We don't need the full blown security of
Active Directory as there will be no access from outside the building. Our
email and website is hosted externally so no public access to the network is
needed.
The reason for using workgroup instead of a domain is to reduce the amount

LimitLogin not working on Terminal Server

under the constraints I've been put under (mainly needs to cost no

Basically I need to allow only certain people to log into my Terminal

So I was told about LimitLogin and cumbersome as it is to setup, it

Alter RDP 5 file to always prompt for username
Hi all,
I've got some XPe devices connecting into servers and the problem is that
the local user account is always pre-populating the existing local user into
the username field in the rdp client.
This is a problem as the XPe devices will always logon using the "user" user
and obviously this implies to the user that they don't have to enter this.
I see in the RDP file that you can p...
