Windows 2003 Server update stopped remote desktop listening on 5 out of 8 servers

Office Apps - Weird things happening on screen
We have an intermittent problem where both Excel and Word will sometimes display certain areas of the page incorrectly. For example, the bottom section of a page will flicker (all the way across the Excel window). TS is installed on a Dell Poweredge 2950 with only about 10 users.
