Remote Desktop vs Terminal Services
H Guys,
brand new install, Server 2003 (x32).
SO OK, I put together this nice new Windows Server 2003 (x32), join it to
the domain, and enable TS. I then connect to it remotely as Administrator,
all's well. So let's take the KB/mouse off and run her headless, move her
into the server room. Apps are installed as Admin, all is well.
Go for it guys, use it.

idea is for people on my team to remote control those computers to run
long-running jobs and stuff. I would like to have some kind of control panel

We have a couple of remote offices, and the users have notebooks and connect
to the main office via TS. Our TS server has a mapped drive to a disk that
is backed up nightly to tape and users are encouraged to store documents
there for backup purposes, and work on those files via a TS connection.
However, these are mobile users, who don't always have internet access and
have to s...

Hi,
The majority of our users connect to terminal servers using Wyse terminals
running WINCE. Despite the fact that I have selected "English (Australia) -
US" as the keyboard layout on the Wyse unit, the user's TS session displays
"English (United States) - US". If I select "English (UK)" on the Wyse unit,
the TS session honors this. So it is clearly a problem with the way the Wyse
