Toshiba M7 or Portege M400 - with vista. Pros and Cons
I'm trying to understand the differences between these two machines and how
they work with vista.
M7: I've found a number of blogs that indicate people have had issues
getting vista on the M7, and even that the drivers are no longer available.
I'll be purchasing a new machine. Will it come with Vista? Will I have any
issues with Vista if I don' thave to install it?
I believe that...

Upgrading graphics on tablet
Hello
I have a Toshiba Tecra M7 tablet pc with the Nvidia Quadro NVS 110M
graphics adapter, which I understand is PCI-Express. It is apparently
a low end business card and I would like to play a couple of games
since this tablet is powerful (and big) enough to perform as a regular
laptop. I would like to go to some mid-line Geforce Go graphics
adapter if it is possible. My question is p...

adjust font DPI doesn't work
I have a Samsung Q1p with Vista Home Premium installed. The little screen
wouldn't be an issue if the Adjust Font DPI in Control Panel>Appearance would
function. I have tried enlarging the font size w/ the pre-set size as well
as the custom size & nothing works. Any suggestions?...

Tablet-specific Firefox crash
On a Tablet PC using Firefox going to http://www.guardian.co.uk/ leads to
Firefox crashes. Using a non-Tablet PC there is no problem. The problem
occurs with Firefox in either XP or Vista, it does not occur with Internet
Explorer 7, it occurs even if Firefox is in Safe Mode, and Adobe Flash is up
to date.
I filed a Firefox bug report:

How to get inductive touchscreen features with resistive touchscre
Hi everyone,
I've just got an HP tx1005AU. I find that a drawback with a resistive
touchscreen system that it has is that you cannot 'mouse over'. When you
touch the screen, it immediately performs a click on the spot that you
touched.
Is there setting so that a brief touch merely brings the mouse to the spot,
a longer touch clicks it, a wriggle is a right click, etc.?
How about a t...

notebooks that do
not use Wacom pens (electromagnetic)? The latter has 3000+dpi; pen mice,
like i-pen & V-pen,
have 800-1000dpi, and have been said to work well will Adobe Photoshop.
What real differences in HWR, etc., are noticeable?
What did Gates & others have in mind as tne non-Wacom input devices & the
