tabletpc screen problems
Hey
My labtop screen is running. I am not sure what the problem is because I
haven't caused any physical damage to it and I haven't installed/downloaded
any new programs.
The screens runs (flickers) from the login screen. I can get it to stop
momentarily by pressing the sides of the screen or touching the screen itself
(it doubles as a tablet). Eventually the screen stops (usually wh...

OneNote in Tablet mode
I am getting odd behavior with OneNote- but only in Tablet node. Thought I
would post here and in the OneNote area to see if anyone has seen this before.
When I create a text note in OneNote, the box containing it remains visible
and I can grab it to expand it with either pen or mouse.
In tablet mode, if I use the pen and handwriting recognition, when I insert
it creates a new text bo...

Word 07 - Ink in the document footer
I'm trying to place my signature in a footer on a document. I'm able to do
that without any problem. Where I run into the snag is printing. When I
print a document with ink in the footer, the ink doesn't print. When I move
the ink to the body layer, it prints. I'm trying to print to a laser as well
as a pdf.
Any ideas on this one?
thanks

Vista handwriting on XP?
I recetnly had a Vista tablet PC for about 2 weeks. There were numerous
hardware issues and I ended up returnging it in favor of a different vedor's
model, running XP Tablet. So, I now have a Lenovo x60T, which is a keeper.
Although I am happier in an XP environgment (running Office 07) I do find
that I wish I had the added capabilities of Vista's handwriting recognition.

ann: Emoze provides a solid alternative to RIM’s Blackberry security problems
A French government ban on the RIM BlackBerry on 20 June 2007, citing a
security risk, has created a wave of concern around the world. Some
governments allow the device to be used for declassified data and low
levels of confidential information, but for classified information, the
system is not authorized for use by many governments and agencies. The
main security concern is that Blackberry sub...

Handwriting Recognition in Multiple Languages (Vista Business)
Can the English version of Vista Business recognize both Korean and English
handwriting?
It seems like MUI is only supported in Enterprise of Ultimate.
Is that what's necessary to have the handwriting recognition, or will Vista
Business do the job?
Thank you....

TIP button keeps appearing when using pen in Journal
It keeps reappearing in the same spot even though I am not in text mode.
Naturally, that spot is right in the middle of the part of the screen I
use the most when writing in Journal. I have even tried turning off the
option to have the TIP button appear at all. It still appears about half
of the time I have the stylus anywhere near the screen.
Any clues?...

fwiw, if you use a ksu with the t4125 docked, you know that if you are
switched to another cpu during it's bootup, the fuji switches to the

ksu or login blind..
In case it might help anyone else, the laptop blind keyboard keystroke

Acer c300 Secondary Monitor
I enabled the extended desktop onto a secondary monitor - a benq 19inch
but for some reason the option has now disappeared from the Intel
Extreme Graphics menu. However, even though the monitor keeps displaying
the message 'no signal detected', it is still detected by the software
and the extended desktop is still active.
Anyone have any idea how I can restore this graphic option?
TIA
