Shared folders after update
I have two computers both have XP Home and are connect pier to pier. One
computer is set up as a file server. After doing basic windows updates or
installing a program I loose my file sharing on folders. I have to go and
reset the sharing each time. What is causing me to loose the share?

IE7 - Hide/Remove/Lock Off History in Favorites Center
Hello,
I'm testing a WinXP SP2 self service machine which the public will be able
to use to make financial transactions on.
I have locked the system and IE7 down using a combination of SCT v1.1 and
GPEdit.msc, but I am unable to hide/remove/lock off the "History" functions
in IE7 under the Favorites Center window.

Multiple user profiles
I have set up an image for the public computers at the local library. We were
previously using commercial software to take care of our public machines. We
have since decided to test out the SCT V1.1. I have only one problem with the
SCT so far and that is it creates a new user profile almost every time the

Disk Protection - disk overlay and ewf volume on different partiti
I have my protected partition on drive C: and want to split the "protection
partition" between C: and D: - Disk overlay on D: and EWF configuration
volume on C:.
It seems to be per default both together on D: if i choose D: as it is
described in the handbook.

Default password for the Tool Kit
I just cant figur it out. I'm wondering how the Tool Kit setting is protected.
Basically, how can we avoid user to modify setting set in the Tool Kit? From
my point of view once the Tool is install anyone can open it and play with
the setting. How do we secur the tool to avoid user to modified it?...

multiple profile folders
Since starting the design of a kiosk, I have gone through multiple edits of
the same profile. Apparently th system is keepng some sort of track of these
changes. I now have the following profile folders in Documents and Settings:
Profile
Profile.orig
Profile.machinename
Profile.machinename.000
Profile.machinename.001
