Action Pack SBS 2003 R2 Premium DVD: installing SQL Server 2005
For all experiencing trouble installing SQL Server 2005 from the SBS 2003 R2
Premium DVD included in the Action Pack, the following tip might be useful.
SQL Server 2005 will not install using the setup page for the Premium
Technologies (PREMTECH) folder on the DVD. Clicking on the option to install
SQL Server 2003 resulted in a pop up telling to insert the DVD.
When running the setup.e...

odd behavior from sbs2003, SP1
hello,
About 3 months ago I installed this server. The pc it's on isn't a
server. It's a decent workstation (3gb ram, 180gb raid1 disks, 2ghz
cpu, asus motherboard).
it was working fine for a while, then these things started happening.
It's also starting to get lots of spam, so I have to start playing with
IMF. It's got trend-micro CSM suite (their newest one).
I haven't had a chance...

IPSEC question
Can IPSEC, if set up incorrectly, cause connection problems with
workstations and servers? For example, transferring large files peer-peer
works fine and the network, but transferring them to/from the server and a
workstation is SSLLOOWW! Other issues such as NIC drivers are all updated,
no errors showing in any log, quality hardware throughout the network. This

Can I install Exchange SP2 on SBS with no other service packs inst
We have a customer who has reached the 16GB limit on their Information Store.
I have applied the registry fix that extends it by 1 GB and the store is
back up and running.
The SBS server does not have Windows 2003 Service Pack 1 or any of its
related SBS patches installed. I was wondering if it is possible to only
install Exchange Service Pack 2 and no other patches?
I look forward...

Hi, I am trying to set up automated forwarding of all e-mails sent
