OWA refuses to work when within RWW
Hi,
I've been using OWA for some time and all has been well. Recently
though, I started using RWW. Everything works fine, but I had to do
the registry hack to get the OWA button to appear within RWW. It's now
there, but just says "Cannot find server or DNS Error" when it's
executed.
All proper ports are forwarded, and I'll stress again, I can access
OWA via http://server/exchange both l...

Urgent - Exchange SMTP Queue
Hi all
Having a major issue here. Came in this morning to a chorus of complaints
about many services not working. Discovered that the C drive had been filled
crippling the system. I've freed up space and services are running but I've
found it is the exchange server that is filling the drive or so it seems.
In the Queue I have one in particular that seems to be the culprit

How do I tell which whether SQL has had a SP applied?
Running SBS 2003 Premium SP2.
================
I was re-reading Microsoft's whitepaper "Securing Your Windows Small
Business Server 2003 Network" and got to the page about SQL. Not having
looked at it in awhile, I looked at Enterprise Manager, then Control Panel >
Add/Remove Programs to see what I've got before I download anything as an
"update". Problem is that I can't tell which S...

WSS 3 and RWW Access
I've seen several articles on possible solutions to accessing WSS 3
from the web and through RWW and all are unsupported and frankly, seem
quite complicated. Some seem way to risky (renaming companyweb). I
was playing around with my 3rd install getting ready for the final
install and thought I would try a few things.
I tried changing companyweb ssl port to 446 (something different) and

Backup Fails- Error C: is not a valid drive...
Hi,
One of the SBS boxes I look after has recently started failing on its backup
with the following error message:
Error: C: is not a valid drive, or you do not have access.
I tried running hotfix KB817688, but it came up with the following error:
Setup could not find the update.inf file needed to update your system.
Any ideas would be really appreciated.

SBS 2003 - Excel 2007
I have a client running SBS 2003 and Office 2007 on the workstations. When
they upload Excel 2007 documents to SharePoint with the extension .xlsx,
SharePoint isn't recognizing the extension properly and therefore doesn't
display the Excel Icon to the left of the document, while in "All Documents
View". If I switch the view to "Explorer View", it does show an Excel icon

SBS 2003 R2 and .NET/IIS problems
Hi,
I recently inherited a SBS with R2 on it.
Companyweb, RWW, etc. all work fine, but they are set to .NET 2.0 in the
ASP tab. From what I read online this should be set to 1.1. However, if
I do this, they do not work at all.
I am having some problems that I think are related to this. Can someone
tell me if these should in fact be set to 2.0 on R2? If they are
supposed to be set ...

Slightly OT: Can I install the Windows Server portion of SBS on a laptop?
I am going to Las Vegas to attend a week's training on MOSS 2007 at the end

either native or virtually, Windows Server 2003 Std or higher, on it.
I'd like to save us some money; can I install just the Windows Server
portion on the laptop?
