to Small Business Server" client and an XP VPN connection.
If I am running from the LAN, I can connect just fine using either method.
Here are some additional details:
Server has two nics
WAN is directly connected to internet without a router / firewall.

RDP to Server
Should I be able to RDP directly to my server from the outside world
without going through Remote Workspace?? I seem to be able to connect
directly to the server via RDP by just using the domain or IP address
from the outside world... that doesn't seem quite right!
Thanks,
Sean

Recover Deleted Exchange mailbox
Hey!
I am running SBS 2003 but not R2.
I deleted a user account an later found out that the user had email that the
company needs from the users exchange mailbox. I checked the mailbox store
under mailboxes and the old mail box still shows up on the list but is
disconnected. The right mouse click allows me to select an option to
reconnect it to a user but I can't make that work. Sear...

move info store
I can't mount the mailbox store and I'm out of options. Is it possible to
move the information store from a server running SBS 2003 to a new server
2003 standard with exchange 2003? Keep in mine I can't mount the original
store so I would have to copy the MDBDATA folder over. Would it work?

Hi Win2k3 Gurus,
Need your advice on these issues:
1. We've noticed that whenever we unlock the system (by pressing

was not restarted since it is in production, we're just unlocking the system
to check on something), it takes 3 to 4 minutes before the desktop settings

I can't access router
I have a strange problem. Our client changed from hosting their own site to

they don't have a static IP. We pointed the MX record to their dynamic IP and
everything works well except now we can't log into the Netgear FVS114. When I
type the address of the router, I get a page not found error. I can ping the

SBS SP2 Auto-Install?
Does SP2 for SBS2003 run as an auto install of the MU is set to automatically

SP2 before we install it so we can be sure our business applications will

We are testing a single client with manually configured NIC: Gateway & DNS:
