mapping disk in Vista not client
I have a Vista laptop that I want to map a drive in the SBS2003, when
I use an administrator user to login works fine, but when I try to map
with a mortal, I mean, with a user I receive a extended error.
Where is the problem, Vista or SBS. How to solve it?

Cannot log out of RWW
SBS 2003 users ( admin as well ) are unable to log out of RWW.
The following page gets displayed:
" The page cannot be displayed
A problem has occurred with the Remote Web Workplace. Close this

RWA to server for a standard user, how?
Hi
What we need to do is allow a standard user remote access to login to the
server, without giving them administrator rights. I have tried adding the
user to various security groups, when I login to RWA as this user I can only
see the other client PCs listed and no server.
Is this possible to do, if so how?

Remote Web Workplace
Hi,
Have have the Remote Web Workspace (RWW) up and running fine and can
access OWA, so everything seems okay. But, i cannot access "Use my
company's internal Web sie" from RWW.

can't permanently select IE7 to open shortcut
Hi,
A user installed Firefox, then removed it. He has an IE shortcut on his
desktop (it's actually an IDATA.ASP shortcut). Since he removed Firefox,
double-clicking on this shortcut brings up the "Open with" dialog box
everytime. Even though I select IE and check "Always use the selected

Exchange/outlook setup
In our organization we would like to make a public folder where some
important e-mails will be stored (stored by a number of co-workers)
We have used a public forlder to place such e-mails.
Let say the directory in public folder is named "projects". Within the

Hello!
I have an SBS 2003 SP1 server as my only email server. I want to set up SPF

fax problems
I have sbs 2003 with shared fax client. it keeps freezing and not
responding, the only way to re-start the program is to re-boot the
server(which is a pain) i thought it was an incoming fax so i have put
that side on a seperate pc. but i get the same problem so i guess it
is the outbound.
after it stops responding it stores all unsent faxes and re-sends them
after the re-boot. any ideas??

Crash after install SP2 on SBS 2003

When I install the SP2 on my Small Business Server 2003, the

CEICW fails at firewall configuration SBS SP2 - ISA SP3 Please Help.
My website was working until I installed SP2, then it only published
partially so I ran the wizard and CEICW failed at firewall

Automatic VPN connection in Vista
We have a remote domain user running Vista Business. They are setup
with the Connect to Small Business Server default VPN, put there by
the /connectcomputer process.
Everything works fine.
However, I want them to connect to the VPN automatically when they

Outlook Calendar Items Recurring Appointment times bounce around.
Hi,
I have tried to search for an answer to this issue, and am coming up empty
handed.
Does anyone know why the meeting time would be erratic on a recurring
appointment that should always be at the same time every week?

Memory allerts SBS2003 R2 Std.
For some reason I am getting allocated memory alerts from just installed
SBS2003 R2 std boxes. These are all at diifrenet client sites. I follow the
advice from the book
on Small Business Server 2003 Advanced best practices. Make the change to the

Email being blocked to other domains
We have small business server 2003 set up and use the built in exchange.
When sending emails to our domain (rodl.co.uk), they send fine and also from
rodl.co.uk to rodl.co.uk is also fine. If sending from other domains such as
bt to rodl.co.uk, it works fine. The problem is, when we send from Rodl.co.uk

Monitoring and SBS 2003 SP2
