How to tell which version of SBS2003?
Hi, this is sort of a stupid question, but I'm trying to upgrade our
version of Small Business Server 2003 to R2. How do I tell if we have
SBS2003 Premium or Standard?

SMTP Problem Help!!
I changed Domain hosting from one ISP to another for a client. Client is
using Exchange server to receive and send e-mail. After the change, they

Antivirus for TS in SBS environment ?
Hello,
I need to add a Windows Server 2003 R2 into an existing SBS 2003 SP1
environment. This extra Win2003 box will be used as Terminal Server in
application mode. Currently, Trend Micro CSM (3.5) is used on the SBS and
on the (5) clients.
I wonder if someone has some suggestions regarding the antivirus that should
be installed on the TS box.
Any suggestion would be appreciated....

Vista WinFax&Scan and SBS2003 stuck on Check Names
I've gotten connected to SBS2003 for fax serving, but when I type in a fax
number to send a message from Fax and Scan (Vista) the program pops up Check
Names (against outlook) and will not just skip it and allow me to type in the
fax number.
It's like I HAVE to use an Outlook Contact.
How do I just type in a fax number and bypass the Check Names?...

Access a machine on the perimeter of an SBS2k3 network

AD performance problems / Suspect LDAP

Fax Service Keeps Stopping Itself - Please Help!!!
I am running Windows 2000 Server w/ Small Business Server.
The MS Shared Fax Service has stopped sending and receiving faxes. I
have tried rebooting the server but this had made no difference.
On investigating, I could see (in Administrative Tools / Services)
that the Fax Service (configured to start automatically) had stopped.

Offline exchange defragmentation
Our SBS 2003 server, has reached the 16Gb limit. I cannot upgrade to
Exchange SP2 till I overcome the Large Database Problem. I just deleted a
lot of old mailboxes, and a lot deleted items, around 6 or 7Gb. Changed the
KEEP DELETED ITEMS & MAILBOX to zero days. Then I dismounted the Information
Store and ran the

Roaming profile and my documents redirection not working with domain users on reinstal
Just purchased new server hardware and have reinstalled sbs using the

Help With RAID 5
I tried posting to the Dell forums, but have received ZERO help . . . so
hopefully someone can help me here since many of you use dell servers for

VPN no acces to local resources

i've setup a vpn connection so that remote users can acces their networkmaps

Connection + authentication VPN users are OK

Can I install this Domain Server on my network without ISA?
I have a SBS 2003 Premium installed with two NIC cards. My network has a
Wireless Dlink Router. There are 4 systems here and I have a bunch of
off-site locations that need to log onto the server for Exchange, SharePoint

SBS 2003 / ISA 2004 reports mail notification fails

When testing to have a mail notification send on a ISA 2004 reporting
job, I recieve the error "The simulation was not completed

Hello!
For some reason the announcements and links that I had in companyweb cannot
be dragged into the left and right zones. They were there for a long time and
suddenly the page showed an error. When I tried to put them back in place the
page only shows "an error has occured".
