How do I go about setting up a wireless laptop connection?
Already running one Desktop linked to a Broadband Service Provider. Would like to connect a laptop to this so we can use it 'wireless' in the house. Am fairly good working with what I've got and muddle through the 'Techi' bits, but what do I need to do to set this up? Can I use a Wizard to help me and if so, do I need to buy something first to enable me to use a wireless set-up? All ...

WinXP, switching users messes up network connection
It seems that the wireless network connection is done on a per-user basis, rather than systemwide. After one user connects well, if you switch users the second user gets a flaky or unusable connection. If you log off the first user, and log in a second, things are fine. I've tried with both Microsoft manageing the connections, and the Intel Proset/Wireless manager. Is there any way...

should # of DHCP included wired connections?
I read your ezlan.net security instructions and one of your suggestions for security is to "Set the DHCP to the same number of computers that you have on your Network" I have 3 computers on my network, one wired and two wireless. Do I set it for 3 or do I just need to count the 2 wireless connections? Sorry, dumb question I know. By the way, the article was great. It answered a lot ...

I'm setting up a few offices and need to push the wireless connection a good distance, I've search for these answers but have yet to find them so I thought that some people here might be able to help. Bermuda triangle in my living room?
Folks, this is going to sound Nuts, but here it is. My Xbox 360, wirelessly networked to a linksys WRT54G via the Xbox 360 wireless adapter, has been dropping connectivity like crazy lately. (LED goes blank on it and it shuts down.) Unplugging and replugging in the wireless dongle reconnects it, but it just shuts down again a couple of minutes later. Found this odd because there's a Win ...
