displaying laptop on projector
when i hook my projector to my latptop i cant get my presentation to display,
i am under the impression that i have to tell the computer to externally send
the info to the projector, how do i do that?

speaker
i got 2.5 speaker surround sound and the base only works with my pc, what do
i do to get all three of them working well the two speakers with the base
that is?...

MCE receiver initially worked fine, now it is no longer recognized
I have an ATI Wonder 650 installed under Vista Home Premium and had it all
working
fine, along with my Microsoft MCE remote/receiver. Today I went to turn on
the
computer with that remote (which I've been doing successfully for days) and it
would not power up. I powered up via the computer power button and
proceeded to
try to bring up Media Center with the remote, that did not work ...

Write Text with IR-Remote
Hi
Sorry for my english.
I have MS Media Center Editon at home. If I search any Music I can use the
Searchfunktion.
Normally you can put in the Text with the Keyboard or with the Numbers of
IR-Remote like
T9 on the Mobilephone.
I have Imon IR Controlpad but the Textinput with the Numbers doesn't works.
Do you know a solution?

Select input in MC
Hi,
I have a Hauppauge TV Card with Vista Home Premium. My card has composite
inputs and I want to plug my Xbox 360 in and then view that in Windows MC. Is
that possible?
To clarify, I want to know if I can select inputs in Windows Media Center.

media player 11 does not work with media center
Windows Media Player 11 Crashes whenever I try to use the media sharing
feature. I have installed and reinstalled it over the past few months. I
thought eventually it would be fixed. Is there s setting I need to change.
Is Media Player 11 not supposed to be able to work with Windows XP Media
Center Edition?

Scheduling TV recording question
I guess I could just do the experiment but I thought I'd ask here first.
If on Monday, I schedule a recording for Tuesday, but the computer is
off on Tuesday, will the program still be recorded? Thanks for any help.

HELP: Where MediaCenter store settings???
Does anyone know where the settings are stored for the MediaCenter My Music
listings? I added a folder and it appears to have imported shortcuts to all
the music in this non-"My Documents\My Music" folder. Now I want to
revert/undo or remove these references to these music outside "My
Documents\My Music" folder. But the delete command prompts, "Do you wish to
delete from your PC". I don'...
