why Microsoft dosn't provide offline virus list supported in Live OneCare
instead of forcing users to connect to internet to check the virus details?

How much RAM is required for acceptable speed
I have the Windows Live Onecare software installed on three machines. Two
of the machines run Windows Vista Home and both have Intel Core Duo
processors and 2GB of memory. Windows Live OneCare runs acceptable fast on
both of these machines. The third machine is my wife's laptop which has an
Intel Celeron 2.8 gHz. processor, 256 MB of memory and runs WindowsXP SP2
with all of the lates...

Subscription
I live in UK & found it difficult to subscribe to Onecare as the
registration page asks for US address, I ended up buying 1 years
subscription, with CD ROM etc from www.amazon.co.uk , I have no idea how to
renew my subscription at the end of the year, is there a way of subscribing
in the UK?,

System slowdowns with OneCare
Has anyone noticed quite alarming system slowdowns when OneCare is active?
Symptoms include 50% to 100% CPU usage as determined in Windows Task
Manager.
Running on XP Pro SP2 and all recent updates.

Scan Performance
I've stopped using One Care because it seems to take forever to do a scan
during a tune-up. I have never timed it but often I have just cancelled a
tune-up after it has been running for a few hours. While the defrag takes
some time the actual scan seems to take forever and I'm wondering if the way
Windows Mail\Windows Live Mail stores each message in an individual file
could be the cau...
